  1. Mate if we go to Craven Cottage then members like us won't even get to go anymore!
  2. So if they take the money and Wembley is turned into an NFL franchise stadium that can only be sh*te and more sh*te for everyone right? Can’t see the FA getting away with that.
  3. I’ve heard that the club will still place them in the shed after the build which is a huge shame, you’d think it would be the best chance to move them out of there.
  4. That's the thing. I don't like sitting down but the people around me sat on Sunday so I did not enforce standing on them, I mean the guy in front of me was like 70. Nobody had a problem with me standing every now & then to sing and most behind me did the same. You must let things go at certain times. The atmosphere was pretty sh*t but I was not surprised. It works both ways: the people that want to sit all game could not chose their seat & nor could the more vocal that like to stand and thus you have a younger supporter sat next to/in front of a 80 year old that can’t stand all game. It doesn't take a genius to work out that you'd not get away with standing for the full 90. I say this all the time but it would help if we could select our own seats, Man Utd are having a singing section at Wembley and a family section. Sorting out an area in the new stadium dedicated to this is very important & I hope the club listen since it's a good opportunity, something that isn't possible in the current stadium because you can't do it without moving season ticket holders. Getting in trouble when everybody else is standing is bullsh*t unfair though.
  5. I would still have something like this... Over this... Ours might look a bit odd at first but at least it will be unique and I think most will grow to love it, it's doing something different unlike Arsenal, Tottenham & West Ham. We could do with some better images of it though.
  6. RIP Roy Bentley. Another legend gone.
  7. Finally sold out now.
  8. Didn’t RA lose just over 500m because of US sanctions also, heard people say it’s not that much to him but when he’s funding the new stadium out of his own pocket 500m is about half what that will be. If he loses more I’d guess that would make the stadium build even more costly for him. I don’t know this stuff very well mind so I could be wrong.
  9. You are correct. I’ve just been looking around and Man Utd haven’t sold out either. One can hope the FA will take notice they’ve made a massive f**k up with these prices.
  10. I totally agree about the prices, but if we are the only team that doesn't sell their allocation than I doubt the FA will take any notice. If all four teams did not sell out because of this it would for sure make a statement but when it's just us with empty seats I suspect it will just lead to ridicule by the twitter mob.
  11. Southampton - FA Cup semi-final - Wembley - Sunday 22 April We have received an additional 838 tickets for the Semi Final taking our allocation to 34804. Tickets are still on sale to season ticket holders and members (one ticket per person). From Monday 16 April 7am ONLINE ONLY: Season ticket holders and members can purchase an extra two tickets (maximum of three in total). We regret that tickets already purchased cannot be swapped. Looks like now you'll be able to purchase an extra two tickets. Hopefully it will finally sell out?
  12. That is a shame. Maybe one day they'll realise we need safe standing...
  13. Why are people talking as if he’s been sacked?
  14. I think it’s if we finish 7th & Southampton win the FA cup.
  15. Honestly I've stopped listening to him weeks ago, don't read his manager notes in the programs anymore either. I can understand why people feel more disconnected to our current squad than any other too. As for loyalty points anything under 110 will do for me. Knowing my luck it will be 120 or something! The thing is I thought it would be low in 2016 but it still turned out to be quite high.
  16. If we are doing well, i.e. in contention to win the league or going deep in the CL then we sell our seats. Last year and in 2015 you could even miss out category B home games. This season, with the exception of the start, it's been easy to get hold of a home ticket. I haven't missed out on a single one. For league games like Swansea, Bournemouth, West Brom it has gone to general sale and hundreds of season ticket holders put up their seat on the exchange. I think Arsenal in the League cup semi-final went on general sale too and when I was at that game in the MHL there was a decent number of empty seats around me. And I've seen people have made the point about the exchange. I have seen hundreds on there for West Ham this Sunday and Newcastle at home and Watford to name more examples. Even if the VWR f**ks you over you can still go & sit in someone else’s seat. Which makes me wonder where have all these people gone from last season? It's not just glory hunting members it's also season ticket holders that seem to be able to give up their seat for 10 games this season. Has this been a sh*t season? I suppose, but if finishing 5th and potentially making it to/winning an FA Cup final is a sh*t season than it certainly shows how expectations have changed. I think it's embarrassing actually. We will sell out our Wembley allocation it just will take a while as I believe a lot of our supporters have become Jaded and don't want to go. Most of the people going will probably be people going to see Chelsea at Wembley for the first time or people that haven't gone to a single game this season and it's not their fault if they have the chance to.
  17. JT paying his respects at Stamford Bridge today
  18. I assume there was a minute silence before the game? I didn't see the start.
  19. It's a joke that they get away with not letting us select our seats. I had a look at Southamptons site and look how they are going about it... You can select which block you want, it shows the price availabilty ect... You can choose the exact row and seat you want also. When you're paying that kind of money you should expect to be able to know what tier you're going to be sitting in. It's unbelievable how long our club has gotting away with not giving us that option. What do we get? Just a drop down list, you select price catergory and that's it - you won't know where you're sitting until they arrive. but it's been like this for years so it's not like anything is going to change. (sorry for long post I was just talking a friend about this in the morning and thought to post my thoughts here too.)
  20. Very upset to have heard the news just now.
  21. Last year it was 110 and I've never seen it be higher than that on the current system. I am hoping to end the season on 111/117 but it's false hope because I never have enough! plus I forgot to renew my membership for the 5 point bonus @Munkworth I think also after Ancelotti went, it dropped to 0 points! Whatever it's out of my control I suppose.
