  1. I don't blame Rosenior tonight. Gave it a go. Maybe overplaying it at the back as we don't have too many at the back who are comfortable on the ball. How we need a decent keeper.
  2. It's like a love that dare not speak its name 🤣🤣
  3. WTF with this team? Square pegs round holes. It's a lineup for a f**k up.
  4. Will have to agree to disagree. In truth, by the time Fofana got sent off, we should have put Burnley to the sword. We were abject for most of the game as far as getting a second. We don't like a low block.
  5. I understand that people are miffed with the result yesterday, me included. But Fofana didn't cost us the 3 points. We had about 8 defenders on when Burnley scored from a set piece. If with so many defenders on and Fleming gets a free header from a corner, makes no difference if he is on the pitch or not. Crap marking, midfielders standing still, nobody picking up their biggest threat from a corner. We threw away 2 points against Leeds with 11 men on the pitch. We have been throwing away points all season. Imagine if we had some wise older heads in the squad. A couple of defenders who know how to see out a game. As an aside, I see the sporting directors/owners are not content with screwing up the men's team, they have turned their considerable talents for making sh*t decisions to the women's team now.
  6. I completely agree. It's 3 points. Tired players. Nobody played great, Caicedo aside as per, nobody's played terrible either. It keeps us in contention for a top 4 finish. Contentious point, I'm an Enzo fan. I think that his importance to the team would only be realised if he was out or left. He plays game after game, stays fit.
  7. Hard to judge this game. Think Sanchez had the only save of the game. Guess it was up to us to try score, never looked like it. Nor looked like conceding. A meh game.
  8. 5 sporting directors. 5 f**king sporting directors. This is on them as much as anyone at pitch level. Wish we could go back to an experienced manager, experienced players.
  9. I don't think Delap will ever pull up any trees, but he is getting f all service so far. Gittens has done nothing. Garnacho has, unfortunately what he has done has been abysmal.
  10. There is hope because there's the double barrel shotgun to bring on..... Diego Delap and Eden Gittens.
  11. This made me laugh out loud. And made me cast my mind to Easter eggs.
  12. Every time he speaks, some of what he says makes me cringe. A bit like TNT commentators do.
  13. Just checking.......we are the home team aren't we?
  14. A few square pegs in round holes tonight. Doing OK....just. The passing out from the back, why? We have two CB and a keeper who have feet for standing on only.
  15. Medical department picking the squad I see.
  16. Gallagher didn't leave us, BlueCo the hedge fund sold him. He's 25, he wants to play. I don't hold anything against him. BlueCo are the problem. They only see ££$$
  17. The sad thing is........you may not be too far from the the reality. Certainly the medical dept have more power than the coach. Dashboards, the joy they have brought to our everyday lives eh?
  18. In my humble and not so knowledgeable opinion, we have a lot of midtable ok players, and maybe 3/4 players who teams above us would covet. We have enthusiastic but average players. Some who can be a 8/10 game every once in a while, but mostly are 5 or 6 out of 10. I'm underwhelmed but LR getting the job, but I wish him well and hope he can turn a team who are at most scrambling for a champions league place, into something more. I remember going to the bridge in the 90s, and the revolution and professionalism Hodlde brought. Winning a trophy then was amazing. I fear we are going back to similar days where competing was Ken Bates aim.
  19. We are on the Rocky Rd to nowhere tonight. A Tosin hat trick would be Mint. It would be the Cookies and Cream on top.
  20. Now I'm in Ice cream heaven. Can you Deliveroo it to Yorkshire? I'll tip the cyclist 23p for his/her efforts.
  21. Banana, can't beat it. Also can't find it anywhere. It's as hard to find as Tosin on a fantasy team.
  22. I really feel for them. If it happened to us, we'd be pissed off. Why not give someone from the academy a chance. We've seen what happened when we don't promote from the academy, see Newcastle.
  23. The second most underwhelming manager, sorry coach, since the last one. From shopping at Fortnum and Mason, to now going to Aldi for 6.5 years. He will probably get peeved after 18 months or so with operating within a system that winning is an option, not the only option. He will get frustrated with the lack of influence/control. I also really feel for Strasbourg. They have they same hopes and dreams as any club, as any fans, and they have been relegated to being foster parents essentially. WTF it must feel like to go to see them every week knowing that the club you love are nothing more than a babysitting service.
