Would have preferred Chalobah in the centre with Disasi right back. Lets see how many mistakes Badiashille makes.

That’s what you call a £100m free kick from Mudryk

Dont care what you say, Man City were exhausted and there for the taking. Playing negatively by playing Gallagher left wing, should have been Sterling or Mudryk.

Enzos fault, should have blocked de bruyne cross, too slow!

Enzo still living off winning the world cup. Can’t run, cant tackle, cant create, cant score, average passer of the ball, effectively one man short in midfield.

2 penalties denied. Hand outstretched moving towards ball, changing direction of the ball which was heading towards the goal. And, a push in the back making Jackson stumble when he was through on goal.

Gallagher has had zero impact on the game, as expected playing left wing.

Actually been quite impressed with the defending. Ive always rated Chalobah and we look so much more solid and assured with him playing instead of Disasi or Badiashille.

Take aways… Chalobah is an upgrade from Disasi and Badiashille. Caicedo and Gallagher make a better pairing in midfield than Caicedo and Enzo. They have the legs, energy and tackles. Caicedo doesnt look overun and looks like the Caicedo we thought we were getting. Also, having an extra attacker gives us more options when attacking and a better balance. Madueke deserves his spot in the starting 11. He’s direct, threatening, strong, can hold the ball up, closes down, tracks back and decision making is generally good. Better than Sterling. Palmer, world class. Potential Ballon dor winner in the future.

I remember an experienced Drogba and Ballack fighting over a freekick in arguably the greatest ever Chelsea team. That was when Ancelotti was managing, one of the best player managers ever. It was called passion and big team mentality back then. It happens. Important thing was the win.

Am I the only one who thinks its not necessarily a bad thing they all wanted to take the pen? Theyre young and hungry for goals and if there isnt a designated penalty taker you would be desperate to get another goal. This is something Poch needs to sort as its something thats happened before. Bit extreme telling them to f off, calling them wnkers and be sold. Theyve all played well tonight.

Palmer is brilliant, a big reason why were playing so much better. He’s created 2 clear cut chances today already.

Sterling again making the 4th. Dont understand the criticism of the team today. Enzo is back in his position and bossing it. Palmer is quality and is being played. Sterling is on fire and rightly played over Mudryk . Yes we pass at the back to keep control and possession! Burnley had to work hard chasing the ball in the first half and now theyre knackered. And now were seeing the fruits and turning it on. Credit to Poch for making those changes. Everyone expecting us to play like Barca 2011 from minute 1 to 90. Most importantly last two games have shown progress.

Sterling again! 2 goals and made the other goal. People on this forum will still call him sh*t.

They did pass around at the back, but then we had players like Robben, Duff, J Cole, Malouda, Anelka, Hazard, Willian and Pedro for the quick transition and were deadly going forward. Cant just lump it forward if nothings on.

I dont think we should be complaining about the passing around at the back. Its to control the game. Some of the great Chelsea sides of the past did exactly that. Under Mourinho, Ancelotti, Conte etc. waiting for the opportunity to open up. Cant just pass forward all the time and dribble at defenders all the time and lose possession.

Brilliant by Sterling

Never a yellow card, he was just trying to nick the ball

Thiago Silva should have slid there, Cucurella, through his legs, unlucky.

Burnley v Chelsea (PL) Sat 7th Oct 23 15:00 GMT
Im happy with this line up. Cucurella is better at right back. Body positioning is better and no wasteful balls down the left. He’s being forced to make shorter passes inside which is safer and works better. Although Mudryk scored last week, he still loses possession way too much, giving the opposition chances to attack and putting pressure on the defence time and time again.

Poch has to start Palmer as Cam tonight…otherwise I will seriously start questioning his management abilities. Enzo needs to drop as a holding midfielder.
-
Chelsea v Brighton (LC) Wed 27th Sep 2023 19:45 GMT
You need a CAM who can turn on six pence, run at defenders, create and operate in tight spaces and score goals. We have 2 players who can do that….Palmer and Nkunku. Not Enzo! It will also create clear chances for Jackson. And we will get goals. Thats why we played well in preseason and have a goal today. Poch has to see this by now!

Palmer has to play as the advanced playmaker from now on, behind Jackson. We can see the difference its made. Enzo should not be in that position!

This is on the scouts/recruitment. No PL keeper has a longer list of blunders than Sanchez and we make him number one choice keeper.
