Piss Up - Arsenal - FA Cup Semi, 18th April
Will the piss up venue transfer over to Wembley?? If so we will attend, there is a pub called the Preston at Preston Road which is usually all Chelsea for cup games at Wembley. Been there a good few times before. Pretty central and nice big pub with beer garden and food on the go. http://www.emberinns.co.uk/theprestonwembley/findus/

Motm: Stoke Away
Ballack for me, wasnt the greatest game or atmosphere but 3 points and top of the league which is more important!

Help With Tickets, Please
Think they are probably under the sky box up in the corner of the MH lower, to be honest my mate sat there and said he saw loads, and as a 5ft 2in supporter I never get to see much of the game anyway! Hope they work out alright. :D

Motm Vs Man City
Glad someone feels the same about him as I do, he was rubbish yesterday, a total waste of time. I voted for Ricci, he was great but I also wanted to give it to Ashley as I thought he played well.

Atmosphere At Games - Home And Away
Ok, we went to the game, obviously with trepidation that we would spend the entire game sat down being bored, I have to say that the first half of the game was really good atmosphere wise, we were up for the entire first half and the singing was good. A slight mar on this was the fact that the 2 people behind my kids are not day trippers :( and indeed are season ticket holders which is a shame, you see I intend to have a great time in my season ticket watching the game, if these people behind us dont then I cant help them. They stood here and there through the first half, when they did sit down the man said he would watch the game on the screen above the MH!! Why dont they just stay home and watch it on telly??? Then when the second half came they asked my kids to sit down, I was downstairs and didnt witness this, when I came back to my seat I heard a voice asking me to sit but to be honest I didnt take any notice, everyone in front of me was up on their feet and I wasnt going to sit when they were all standing, I felt my shirt being pulled but again ignored this - however when the woman started to have a go about me to someone behind is when my blood started to boil. I shall be having a word with her the next game I attend, I will be polite but say that when those in front of me sit then so will I. So on the whole not a disaster, I felt at home with the guys around me who seem to have had season tickets in the area for ages, they have made us feel very welcome! ;)

Atmosphere At Games - Home And Away
Just wanna say thanks for all the feedback on this thread. I did add the thread with caution cos I didnt wanna upset anyone and do enjoy coming on the site and adding my point of view here and there. After reading the replies out to my kids we are really well happy! I was feeling really downbeat about the whole situation but am feeling more positive knowing there are so many like minded people out there - we are NOT the problem, it IS the problem of the prawn sandwich and armchair brigade. Looking forward to Sunday and heres hoping for a better atmosphere *hopefully those behind us were day trippers and not season ticket holders* :D

Atmosphere At Games - Home And Away
I am extremely disillusioned after the first 2 games of the season and have found the atmosphere to be really lacking in both games but pretty much at the away game yesterday at Wigan. I got a season ticket in the Shed Lower this season and was well happy with it, then when we got to the game against Portsmouth I was unhappy to find that the people behind me and my daughter didn't get involved, didn't even stand for the goal celebrations and spent the entire game tutting every time we rose from our seats, even when we got up to allow someone to pass and get a drink. I felt really fed up at the end of the game because when we joined in and got up with the crowd it was made very clear that we were obviously getting in this couple's way. Now I am not being funny but at the end of the day if we could have got tickets in the MHL we would have done we were told the only ones we were guaranteed together were the Shed Lower, I was apprehensive because I had not sat in the Shed before, I had tried the other stands but never the Shed. We like to be involved and we like to get up and sing. We were told that the Shed is one of the stands where they encourage the singing (ok not the standing) but I am pretty fed up that we were made to feel the way we were after spending 2K on season tickets (2 adults, 1 child) you could argue that these people have obviously paid to be behind us but why not sit in the West???? When we went to Wigan it just about summed it up when our own fans sung "Our support is f****ng sh*t" - again there were tuts when you stood, I had a small child behind me and tried to observe this and only stood when we scored etc, but when I sat down the child spent the entire first half of the game sitting with her foot up on the back of my new away shirt, I was furious and about 5 minutes before the end of the first actually stood and wouldn't sit again. Needless to say during the break we found a spot and moved, unfortunately right next to the Wigan fans and got heaps of abuse but at least we could stand and sing and feel involved. Its a long old hike to go from London to Wigan and just sit there not making any noise and contributing at all to the game. I realise reading this I sound like a moany bird but am open to everyone's comments on the matter as I said to my daughter perhaps we are the ones in the wrong?? So here we go, its over to you...................................................... :D

Season Tickets 08/09
Tim, its a shame you didnt get the membership cos if you have a membership with 70 points and over you can apply for a season ticket, I did it today and got mine, they say you are not guaranteed until the money goes out the account and before I could get out the car park my bank was raided! Me and the kids got ours in the Shed lower, they said that there are a lot due to the CL final which stopped some people renewing. I am very happy today You have to get a membership this season coming.......

FA Cup final
Nope, its just us who get the bad press all the time about boring games, this one will go down as a classic FA Cup with its twists & turns and not a word will be uttered about how boring the actual final ended up
