  1. Some players are treated differently, same in every sport. Too many oversensitive ppl on this planet. What I'm livid about is why the frank was E Fernandez in west Wales on Boxing day last year? He was injured, we know how bad driving is for you, obviously he was speeding to get back to be in attendance for the match on Dec 27. Some major Catholic service down here or what? Has he got family down here? Was he showing off his new son? Whatever, he should have been staying in Surrey, or wherever he lives.
  2. Vamos España.
  3. Hope England nor Scotland win the whole thing, imagine listening to Brazil, McCoist and the rest of the pundits and journos over the next few years, no thank you. If England do win it, at least I can say, well it's not the WC, England should be winning WC's.
  4. I'd start Nkunku as a RW, swap Mudryk and Nkunku around, obviously give them a bit of freedom. Nkunku can play as a 9 as well. Deep down though, knowing we're not going to be able to play the top teams off the park, play three centre-halves. Jackson and Nkunku up-front, Palmer, Fernandez and Caicedo in midfield. Cucurella is more effective as a wing-back from what I've seen. But as we know E Maresca is highly highly unlikely to play 5-3-2.
  5. But Palmer would be more effective playing centrally more, along with Fernandez and Caicedo. Mudryk, Nkunku and Jackson starting up-front.
  6. I agree, that's where his future should be, I feel he's the Ricky Hatton of football, I don't think his brain is wired to be a really good 6, he's just not a top quality midfielder IMO. North London or Birmingham should be his destination next month.
  7. I'd like you to show me a heat map of Gallagher spending more time in advanced positions than Enzo Fernandez. Palmer as we know plays a little wider quite a bit, he probably could be top quality in every outfield position, but obviously does his most effective work in and around the oppositions box. I don't mean to be cheeky, but I'm glad Fernandez didn't play as a 10 in the WC Final otherwise Mbappe might have scored 5. Gallagher wouldn't be in my Chelsea XI, he's too good to sit on the bench.
  8. Gallagher should be sold, he's a 10, we have Palmer for that position. A few more should be sold as well. Kepa, A Broja, T Chalobah, M Sarr, B Chilwell and R Sterling. I don't want us to sign anyone apart from a really good winger, I don't think we're going to sign Vinicius Jr; of course V Osimhen is a v good player, but I didn't want to sign R Lukaku again, yes Osimhen is a better player than Lukaku, but IMO he's still a risk as he hasn't played for a British club. We have enough strikers. CHELSEA - THE PRIDE OF BRITAIN, THE PRIDE OF THE M4 CORRIDOR
  9. I hope Tuchel is appointed.
  10. Ymlaen Deutschland! It's nothing personal, just anti much of Fleet Street(yes, the press aren't based on Fleet St anymore) and slightly anti Westminster, though they have done some good to me over the years, thank you Westminster for that, blinking thank you very much.
  11. Not bothered, as long as we are competitive in the FA, League and Europa Cup/League.
  12. I want stability for a change, do not sack him. It's not the answer.
  13. I know of players who have come back from bad injuries and done very well and others who haven't.
  14. W Fofana was one of the best defenders around when we signed him, he's potentially as important to us as VVD is to L'pool.
  15. As he says, it might make a difference, as has been seen in the World Cups of 1982 and 1998 you have to build a team from the back if you want to win trophies. A top No.9 is just the cherry on top. There aren't many top strikers around as I've said before on here. I'm sure there were more top quality No.9's around when I was a kid in the 80's. As I've said before, I think the reason why there aren't many No.9's anymore is due to better pitches which has changed football.
  16. You start at the back, you fight and run your blood to water, 100% effort 100% of the time, if you can have a little bit of, you know, on top, and score a "nice" looking goal then that's just an added bonus. Make yourselves difficult to beat. This is football 101 isn't it? It's the case in every sport that I know.
  17. I guess most of you want CFC to win all the time and to win every trophy every year, I detest us losing to Liverpool, West Ham, Newcastle, Man City and that's about it. So my feeling is, no way should we be sacking Pochettino, I wouldn't have sacked Lampard first time around. And as we know playing in England is different and managing a small team in Spain is totally different to managing a big team in England. I WANT STABILITY AT CFC. Hopefully W Fofana comes back close to his best, that would be a massive help. R James getting a good run in the side. That's it, that's all we need at the moment. People talk about a No.9, no, football has changed due to the massive improvement in pitches.
