  1. Just broke my heart.... While the league might not support, I think we can see progress from last season. With the profile of player we have and the Injuries I think the top 4 was alwaysa bit of wishful thinking, by my self included. People like to point to liverpool, they have 7 years of Klopp embedded in to that club, anyone coming in is fitting in to a well eshtablished system When I consider what I think would be our best line up right now (it doesn't include Sterling or Silva) We have two players with more then 2 years of premier league football under there belt. Half of them have less then 100 profesional games and this is there first season together. It will take time but I think we have the best man for the job in the dugout
  2. He turned 23 two months ago. The point of poch is to help coach him and improve him, it's pretty clear that the model was about buying (all be it overpaying) players who are not the finished article. I actually think the biggest issue is that every time he puts a decent game in he has his legs cut out from under him, either subbed or dropped
  3. Given that Chilli also cant seem to string a season together and for me cucurella is a level below what we need, I wouldn't be opposed to to seeing gusto cover out on the left it needed. Rather him out there then Colwil. (Assuming Reece is able to regain full fitness and put a string of games together)
  4. I'm not sure how much of it was space, as much as we just got out played in every capacity, work rate and intensity chief among them. Liverpool are benefiting from what would seem like a "new manager boost", the announcement of klopp leaving has increased their desire this season. We should have been ready for that and we weren’t even close. I wasn’t to joke about the mess that was VAR and the rubbish reff but had we got anything out of that game it would have been a robbery.
  5. If for nothing else (and there is a lot else) I'd like to think that Conor's hamstrings not being made of paper tishue might go in his favour. On Enzo, when he's on song we are a better team, he justsee's the game and the pitch that much quicker. He does however seem the go to sub at 60 mins
  6. Id be happy to learn proper etiquette, I didn't rearlise it was an issue. Its not quite a first post. I Just haven't posted in a long time and forgot my password, thought that I may as well start a fresh. The point I was looking to make was that I recall having a simalar discussion in these parts regarding Salah and feel the same will be true of, Mudryk
  7. Really reminds me of someone but can't quite put my finger on it There is a player in there. He look's to me the kind who needs a run of games, everytime he has started to show good form he has been droped If we move him on I fear we will regreat it Oh yeah, first post (well in a while anyway ) nice to see you all... https://youtu.be/lfUrjw_4T7c?si=Am-b2bPKE6J_x_5D
