Phil12100 reacted to dansubrosa in Welcome To Chelsea Thiago Silva *Official*Imagine giving the captaincy to injury prone James and Chilwell ahead of Thiago f*cking Silva.
Poch never truly appreciated him. Him and John Terry, the two greatest centre backs to put on the shirt.
I really hope he comes back one day.

Phil12100 reacted to Scott Harris in Mykhailo Mudryk signs for ChelseaThey do, but at the same time, why hasn't a single coach set up the team to get the best out of him? Mudryk certainly doesn't look he's going to work out with us, I've been saying it for a while now, but at the same time, how many times have we said this about Chelsea players in recent times? Why are our managers refusing to switch styles at this club? Remember when he first arrived and played that really good game against Liverpool? It's like everything he was doing in that game has been coached out of him. Our football is like the death of entertainment, because every player that joins us quickly losses it.
Every game I watch him play he receives the ball with his back to goal and is expected to beat 3 players with dribbling and start from standing position. Since when did we sign another Eden Hazard? Mudryk can't do this. I saw his highlights at Donetsk, everything good about his game was played with tempo. He's one of the quickest players in the world and we never see it. We play at snails pace in every game, trying to play this precise, risk free football and almost none of our players are good at it. A coach is supposed to use the strengths of the players and build a system around them. Pochettino is still playing the exact same style of football that has held this club back since the Sarri years.
Mudryk is actually very similar in style to Anthony Gordan, but the differences to how they are asked to play is like night and day. Newcastle aren't isolating Gordan in 1v3 situations, they aren't playing slow, they are hitting it into space early and basically just asking him to sprint. We are the opposite. We take an age to get it out of defence. CB play to midfield, they play it back to CB, forward players starting dropping deeper, ball is played back into midfield, then out to left or right, with the wingers facing away from goal. Ball goes back to midfield, ball goes back to CB........it just goes on and on like this every single game.
Mudryk, Madueke, Chuckwuemeka, Jackson, Enzo, Caicedo, Chilwell, Gusto, Nkunku, I don't see how this type of football suits any of these players. They all want to play with pace and tempo. Quick passes into midfield, and then quickly on to the wingers with overlapping fullbacks. I bet we can find highlights videos of all of these players looking better at their former clubs. Even Gallagher who you know I don't rate would be better in this kind of system because he's the only one playing with tempo. If the whole squad was playing at this tempo, he wouldn't look so out of place. Maybe this is why he always looks so clumsy on the ball and gets in everybody's way, because everything around him is happening in slow motion to the point where they are barely moving and he is playing at full tempo.
Every single team in the top 9 apart from United has transformed how their team plays with their current manager, but here we are doing the exact same crap we have been doing under 5 different managers. The only time we moved away from it was when Tuchel arrived and had that purple patch between the Champions League winning run and the season after before we were hit with injuries.

Phil12100 reacted to The Rising Sun in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCThe " state the club was in " when it was sold was a top 4 team who had just lost both domestic finals on penalties during a traumatic season involving sanctions and a forced sale.
And the club was debt free.
What a great club to buy, yet it was wrecked and ruined from top to bottom leading to the worst Chelsea team in decades all within a few months.
This is all down to the owners

Phil12100 reacted to abister1 in BlueCo buy Chelsea FCMy initial sentiment to your message was admonishment.
But then let me just be a bit more tolerant of your view that a man that's the best thing to have happened to this club is responsible for the mess we are now in.
Let me be tolerant of your view that a man who loved this club more than the current brigade do and maybe even more than some of our own fans is responsible for the mess we are in.
Let me be tolerant of your view that the man who never sold his club willingly but got given an ultimatum to do so is responsible for the mess.
Let me be tolerant of the view that the man who bank rolled us through his ownership and brought star after star, managers and players alike to our club and was the original disruptor to the status quo is responsible for the mess.
Let me be tolerant of the view that Roman who was pushed out of the club he owned, in one last show of support to the club wiped out debt clean so we started with a huge advantage over everyone else is responsible for the mess we are in.
In same vein, please be tolerant of my view that your views on Roman are at best misguided and at worst, bollocks.

Phil12100 reacted to Zeta in Poch In or Out? The Mega-thread MergedI think they'd more likely spend £100 on a bunch of new fancy lightbulbs with lots of features, but which are lacking the main feature of lighting a room.
