  1. Oh dear. Tottingham again at Three Point Lane. How many will be watching listening from behind heavily fortified couches I wonder? Doddle. 1-4 Chelsea, Jackson 2, Palmer, Nkunku.
  2. Moonwalk Emoji, for the day he ascends to Chelsea God level. 😉
  3. Nah. I am a real fan, In. addition to cheering on every one of our players for every minute they are Chelsea, and only slagging them off when they are playing with another team, I do understand a whole bunch more about them than just stats. Drogba came to us on the back of a damn fine highlights reel. he was clearly an up and at 'em monster. He looked the part - big, athletic, highly mobile, and deceptively skillful. We spent the first season watching him apply for the Côte d'Ivoire diving team, and either scoring a miracle goal, or killing yet another fan in Row Z. Didier's great advantage over Jackson in those first two seasons was, 1/ Jose Mourinho's absolute and very public belief in him, 2/ Frank Lampard 3/ JT, the greatest Captain the premier has ever seen 4/ An amazing squad of manageable numbers, containing far fewer players eligible for their nation's under 21 team than the one we have now. He also had the knack of scoring the one goal that we needed, even when he had spent 89 minutes of the game flogging a dead horse. I got it. In full flow he was just magnificent, and he scored a number of goals of the type I doubt Jackson could ever replicate - think 25 yard, control, turn, shoot- at Spurs, Liverpool, and Arsenal. We were high on winning, and Didier was a man who wore his love for Chelsea on his sleeve. What was not to love ( we did still have concerns about him though, even in year two). It still took until 2009 before the talk about Didier finally turned to the subject of statues and sainthood, and then 2012 before even God agreed. Jackson doesn't have the fanfare: He has instead inherited the confusion and frustration of the whole Boehly era. The excessively large squad of kids all looking for a leader, and trying to figure out who their colleagues even are. And yet, statistically he is right there with Didier, and even a little ahead. He knows he's a footballer and we have been blessed with not having to pay a lifeguard to watch over him in the penalty area. ( you may not recall just how seriously we were pissed at Didier for that sh*t) His skill set, if you bother to look real close, is utterly phenomenal,. and there has no doubt in my mind that he gives 100% for the team, 100 percent of the time. He's a different character, but he is Chelsea and absolutely worthy of respect from a Chelsea Fan.
  4. First two completed seasons In the league, Drogba played 55 matches for 22 goals. Jackson has so far played 48 games in the league for 22 goals. In his first two seasons in the FA and league cups, Drogba played 10 matches for 2 goals. Jackson has played 9 matches for 3 goals. Jackson is only half way through his second season. He is doing better than Drogba. The fact that Drogba's first two seasons coincided with the incredible success of the team under The Special One, is probably shading your memory.
  5. Mate, that's your mirror you're shouting at. The incredibly talented Chelsea footballer named Jackson, is just over there.....doing even better than Didier at the same stage, and showing serious skill on the ball.................. Posters. .........Know Your Limits!!
  6. Ah, a straight forward cultural matter within the club. Hang the bastard!
  7. Brilliant, 1-5, but the complacency and cynicism from those watching really takes the gloss off. I really think we should try harder, maybe even try to have some respect for what our players and staff do. Best way to do that is to stop watching the game from behind your sofas (figuratively and metaphorically). Grow a pair ya feeble minded wallies. lol. 😇😂
  8. I was bloody livid. Staccato finger syndrome. It's a terrible thing!
  9. I know. I had a message that it wasn't posting..................but it was:(
  10. Definitely mental. You need to change your tactics. Belief in your team helps. Especially at 7 minutes to play and 3-0 up. 😉

  16. It has been reported that mice have actually laughed at Werner's war face. He is not a barn owl. 😉
  17. Terrible. Aston Villa don't seem to be taking this lying down, and are insisting on making it an entertaining match.
  18. Maresca decided your own video highlights didn't cut it? 😉 Onana was a joke. Now he's excellent. Sanchez in addition to screwing up a few times, has made some seriously good and important saves. Sanchez is clearly capable, why not give him a break and treat him like he actually plays for Chelsea?
  19. They always turn up........in the highlight videos, but on many occasions, if you were there, you would have noticed the days they didn't turn up. It's Half time ffs. With Didier we always knew to keep our frustration in check until at least the last second of the match!!!! Right now Palmer is the most stepped up player we have: appreciate him.
  20. This is the same daring mindset that sent British sea Captains off to discover the world hundreds of years ago. Expect Arsenal to become tamed and civilised by 4pm this afternoon!! 😉
  21. Oh, dear. Crunch day. Will we still have anyone or thing to slag off about our own team if we win today? Dilemma dilemma dilemma................. Always loved our players, always have, but if I was picking a team today I'd rather Dewsbury Hall was rested .........until at least one transfer season has passed. Wrexham need him badly.
  22. That's the problem with man U. They will drag you down to their level. Will our players please stop showing human frailties. You were bought to be perfect.............!!!!
  23. I don't seee Charlton or Best on their team sheet. 1-4 Chelsea.
  24. Diary. 2pm Sunday 29th - Prepare to watch Chelsea thrash Newcastle 1-1 (15 shots off target) We need That Guy. A boss; the one that makes it all work like the winning machine it should be.................he doesn't play for us yet.
  25. That ancient rituals still play a part at Liverpool. The weather Gods have been bought off again with a plate of Scouse. Winds forecast for 40mph apparently. Someone knicked the rain though, so not too bad............ 2-3
