  1. My point if you bothered to read it was both are not good enough. Go to specsavers!
  2. Did more for the team.... Not sorry you got butt hurt over my view..
  3. Neither of your conclusions, it's called opinion dude. Ive watched them play... I see bang average players in both. Sorry. go into next season with pedro leading the line we'll struggle again. Stats back it up. Hasnt scored against any side above us except Villa. Fair to say we are above the teams he scores against. Mid-table. Sorry if this isnt something you like to hear.. honest question, Where does Pedro fit in the top ten strikers weve had in the past twenty years. Drogba Costa JFH Anelka Gudjohnson Flo Giroud Crespo eto'o x3 names that I'd have in front of Pedro.
  4. It is hilarious that people bemoan jackson and call him dog sh*te and yet, a player who costs twice as much has scored one more league goal than his first campaign. If Jackson isnt good enough, neither is Pedro... Lets face it, Pedro is the scraps off the top table we used to dine at. We can and should do better.
  5. Mate, leave out the insults. Im simply stating what I think like you guys defending a lower half premier striker. Its cool. Run it by yourselves agains tall the teams he has scored against. Guy doesnt score against top sides.
  6. He was a key striker, scoring 52 Premier League goals in 89 appearances. Costa was a one goal in two games. top top player. foolish to compare a striker who lifted two titles for us against some midtable blowhard. Pedro isnt fit to lace Costas boots.
  7. Ive said what I think, happy with that. Is he good enough, no. Never. Signed from a mid table club who are finishing above us. Look at who he has scored against. None in the league against Arsenal, United, Liverpool, city. ALL OF HIS GOALS HAVE COME AGAINST SIDES BELOW US IN THE LEAGUE except for Villa and he scored 4 against them. six of those ten goals have come against Relegation fodder. Only joy in this run in is if we relegate spurs, but we cant even score. The table you shared says a winger has scored more than the strikers for us and arsenal. Defo believe unless we sign some quality, get a proper manager on board, we're fighting relegation next season.
  8. I struggle to see who is better given the output... His goals couldn't secure us top four... arguably when Pedro went missing so did our top four aspiration and the manager walked after a series of bad results and did this contribute to his departure? Not even going to check that stat.. He's sh*t, Jackson is sh*t, we need better. Its that simple. I'd rather we sold Delap, Jackson and Pedro and reinvested into a proper striker. but given the state of the club, we're going to have to put up with Pedro leading the line and if that's the case, we aint getting out of mid table obscurity. We are in a relegation battle next season.
  9. Great, scored an overhead goal when the game was lost. Where was he in the previous 90. sorry, not good enough. bang average season no better than Jackson. One league goal more than Jackson... I have some straw you can cling to before you look at where we are in the table... despite his goals.. one more than Jackson - we're lower in the league than where we were last season. Cling to the sinking ship folks, big up bang average players... Not the best Brazilian striker in the league... he's at Brentford and cost less than half the price. We need someone better.
  10. No european football means theyre all available for the right price. I wont miss any of them. This is the worst squad we've had in to decades?
  11. for 60 million I dont want someone who replicates jacksons output. We currently sit lower in the table with Pedro up top than we did with Jackson. The club who sold him are above us in the league, as are Brentford who have Igor thiago who has scored 22 goals (8 pens- but still scores more than Pedro) Dont get me wrong, he's looked ok in spells but we've not improved with him as our main striker and we dropped 60 million on him. We're also out of CL this season, struggling to qualify for Europa/ conference. Hope we miss out completely.
  12. 62 million flushed down the toilet and we had to sell better to accomodate this drugs cheat. Hope the UKR army finds a use for him.
  13. Get him out the door.
  14. We've forgotten what top strikers look like. they do not go missing for large periods in a season and they make and create goals themselves. This guy is a mid table premieship player at best. If another club wants to give us the 60 million, he'll be out the door. No better or worse than Jackson and his goals havent helpd us improve on our mid table rivals Brighton who sit above us in the table. 5 more goals for us since his move than last season. Nah, guy is bang average
  15. Stick or twist? If the club high the same nobody names as we've had in Maresca and the LR then sell him now. Palmer cant survive or play in rigid systems, look at the numbers and form. If we get a manager who wants to let him ball and give him free hand to do what he wants, we know exactly what he can do. Poch tried to build a team around his best players, didnt always work but was far more entertaining thatn the eye cancerous stuff served up under the previous two tossers in charge.
  16. Gave up my ticket this morning... Couldnt justify spending the cash and my mate took his dad. Absolutely delighted I didnt bother.
  17. We had plans approved for a new stadium, Clearlake could re submit them... but they wont. they dont want to build a new ground on the current site, they want to sell it and move us somewhere else.
  18. Interesting reading, explains why Palmer has gone off the boil. Team was being set up around him and the next two managers couldnt allow that tactically. https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/chelsea-fc-transfers-pochettino-admission-b1280576.htm Next manager needs to play players to thier stregnths and best positions and we'll see a big difference.
  19. We'll be ground sharing with the Brighton women's team when they sell the bridge to a shell company to pay off the debts. Wondering if we will do a Coventry....
  20. Came on in the 93 minute of a Champs league semi final... "cameo"... 😅 A bonkers game of football last night.
  21. Got a ticket, dont realy want to go, but I do want to go and watch a fantastic midfielder run the show, So might go take a look at Anderson (a player any club with ambition should be in for) - we used to be that club). Fully expect us to lose this one. Last time I saw Forrest in person we had Kevin Hitchcock in goal and they had Ian woan, John stones and Jason Lee up top.
  22. After our last champions league win, I thought who can take the club forward, I wrote the names on the back of a fag packet in the pub and Marco Silva wasnt even on it, neither was Graham Potter, Poch, Didnt think theyd get rid of tuchel, have Maresca or appoint rosinor... Appointing Marco Silva see's me relegate chelsea to an afterthought for the duration of his stay. It isnt even a safe appointment.
  23. The fact that neither winger had a stand out perfromance against a team who have flirted with relegation all season suggests they are both lower half premiership players... Funnily enough, the sides they played for were exactly from the lower half of the Premier League.
  24. I'd be all over Steve holland.... would he want to be number 1? I would be finding a way to bring him back to the club, I would be looking for a "management team" with him in it either as manager or number 2. Has the pedigree from his time with us and England. Guy is a winner. Certainly he has helped Carrick along and United are top 4. Never going to happen.
  25. Jackson fudged Guiu's loan this season because the management got the transfer strategy wrong. 90 million on two strikers last summer and moving the one who scored on loan, regardless of what you think of Jacko... it was staggering at the time and still is. Guiu needs games, goals and confidence because it looks gone from his game. but how we got here was and is farcical.
