Great day (Away days are always are) 2. sh*t performance but I knew we'd struggle, been going far too long to know any different 3. Nice ground ~ Yet another one off the list (Not many more to go TBH) 4. Booing England players must be a Norfern thing (get a grip ya ) 5. Old bill were far to OTT as per usual 6. Stewards were great! Even let us out at half time for a ciggie! 7. The hot pies & hot dogs were as they said HOT! 8. No beer at half time 9. Glory55 was (as usual) in full voice 10. I think I'm getting far too old to be drinking sambukas at 10.30am 12. What happened to 11.? 11. ah there it is 13. We've got the best behaved supporters in the land 14. We all keep the faith! & We never sat down & sung our hearts out 15. We won 2-0 (All be it a bad performance ~ 3 points is still 3 points)

100% SPOT ON L&P Booing pisses me off big time ~ The only time I've booed at Chelsea was when we bought Petit (But that's acceptable, surley )

BOULDERBOLLOCKS (RIP) Please read
There's no easy way to put this so.......... It is with deep regret that I have the very sad news to tell you that Boulderbollocks (Nick) passed away last Friday 31st August Nick as you all knew was a larger than life character & tried to enjoy life to the maximum, but what many of you probably didn't know was that he was a very ill man & had massive breathing problems & was waiting for a lung transplant, which he actually got on the Tuesday, but it didn't take. I will spare you the details & out of respect to Hilary (His wife) We only met up 3 times, but I treated (Boulderbollocks) as a very good friend & we had such a giggle together. Me & Hilary & Josh (his stepson) will meet up sometime for a game at Chelsea & carry on with the laughs that me & him unfortunately can't have any more. My thoughts are with Hilary & the family at this time & I will raise a glass of something special in his honour later today His funeral is in his hometown of Durham on 7th Sept & will be a completely NON-religious event. Unfortunately I won't be attending as I have comitments at home, but if I didn't I would be there So where ever you are or what ever you're doing today, please have a couple of moments to think about the man that was (Boulderbollocks) (Nick) I've got no problems to say that I've shed a couple of tears today Rest In Peace mate I will really miss you as I'm sure a few others will do to (Bluebeard especially)

I second that emotion - might see you boys (Ian & Scott) on Sunday in the Eight Bells (if my memory serves) my ticket fell through the letterbox lunch time so that's one less worry. Your memory is doing you a good service Tim We'll definately (95%) be there mate & I shall find out from Tommy (Remember the big lad in The Witherspoons) What time etc... as he's organising a 28 seater to take us to Wemberleeeee I know we will be leaving Worcester Park & heading for the 8 Bells to pick up the rest BJD has my mobile no. mate feel free to get it off him & I'll have a cold pint of something & I think Scott best have a ribenia What I forgot to add in my report was that we walked 2 miles in the wrong direction after the game & basically cut a long story short Scott couldn't/didn't want to leave Tommy on his own to get back to his hotel by the Clyde So Scott & Tommy went on the piss & Scott missed his flight back with me & as I had to get back home I was left to fend on my own the wonderful sights of the back streets of some road near the M8 After asking several people how the F*ck to get back to the airport by 7.00pm (Flight was 7.30pm) from where I was was a little dornting I had to catch 2 buses & then a cab from Paisley town centre to the airport I booked in enough time for the flight back & then to top it all the flight was delayed til 8.40pm At least this gave me plenty of time to chill out & get a beer in the lounge (I met some right old skoolies & nutty (but nice) chelsea fans) & flew back on my own Scott on the other hand went out on one with Tommy & had to catch the 1pm train back to Euston on Sunday ~ He got indoors about 8.30pm last night (To face the music ) Still all's well that ends well eh? Oh and as for the back streets of Paisley NEVER AGAIN! (Met some nice couples & the bus driver was a diamond, but the rest could "get to f**k")

Well what a day that was!!! For atmosphere & non-stop singing yesterday?s pre-season friendly was up there with the cup finals & very special games To say it was a long day is a massive under estimate. It was longer that a long thing with an attached trailer on the back ;) Still we paced ourselves & had our 1st pint at 5.10am in Gatwick airport with breakie (which I hasten to add save yourselves ?7.99 if you ever want a full English in the departure lounge!!!) Anyhow the plane (737) left bang on time at 6.55am & was packed full of Chelsea & a few Rangers fans & I?d say there were about 10 ?other? normal everyday passengers, I bet they wish they were glad they?d booked that day to go up very grim on So was Glasgow a culture shock???. Did the people sound so weird that you needed subtitles, were the people friendly? YES to all 3 I met up with 3 BSL Tim.L & Sorry mate I forgot you name (Ozzie bloke) mine & Scotts phones didn?t stop buzzing all day (where are you, where?s that pub blah blah blah) We were in a Witherspoons by Glasgow Central by 9.15am & we ordered another much cheaper & far better fry up so that we could have a drink, long story short, we met up with about 8 others & a couple of strangers (one being a Man Citeh fan who was going to the game anyway) So off we went to Paisley Road West (I think) but we had to do a quick pit stop to a hotel by the river Clyde so that a mate could get changed, so the long mission of getting bladdered with the sweaties, yet pacing ourselves enough so that we could actually watch the game was on. Now here?s a thing for you, IF you ever get to see a pub on the way to the ground with ?windows? you?re in the wrong place To say that the surrounding area is a scary place to be in isn?t quite true, but I?m very thankful I live in sunny South London TBH. And that we (I) don?t have to live with the secretairain (sp) malarkey ~ I don?t pretend I don?t know about the Gers/Celtic potitcs & although I sort of understand what it?s all about I really don?t let it come into my life as so many others seem to & live with every day. Because it has never really affected me or my family Blimey I hope that made sense (A bit like that flute I bought for 50 pence ~ JOKE ) I?m uploading some pix & I?ll wack ?em up on here very soon I wanna write some more but I?ve got to collect my car?. So I?ll stop here for a mo & catch up a bit later But all in all I?ve NEVER experienced that type of friendliness (? Is that a word ) at any game & I wish it could always be like that Back in a mo or 2- Match Day Pub Shooting
I've now been told that the Famous Jolly Mausters has also gone "Yuppiefied" With candles & tables Is this true? I know that the pubs around the broadway need only to cater for us for only about 6-8 hours once a fortnight but FFS is there anywhere that ain't sacread anymore Here's a pic of it!!- My pix from the Final
Will do asap ;) Here's a couple more off my phone- My pix from the Final
