50 million for Torres
Not a chance in a light year. There will be a riot if our board decides to go with deal even if you lot offer 100 million.

The Bosingwa deal appears to be done
Not sure why you guys are complaining about this deal. This guy will give you pace with great stamina in attack while he won't be embarassed by pacy wingers like Perriera at back. He can provide you natural width and complements winger who tries to cut in. I think now you guys have very good options in wing back (Bosingwa and cole/briedge) which is needed in 4-3-2-1 formation you guys play. But don't know the logic behind splashing 9 million on that Russian guy when he is discarded without playing a match.

He is a cracking Right back. You'll be amazed by his pace and the way he support attack. We played them in CL group and he really stood out on their right side. Defensively he is decent but I'll say better than your Perriera and Balletti. By the way what happened to right back you guys snapped from russia for 8-9 million. I haven't seen him play any games at all but heard good things about him on internet.

They really are full
The banter is part and parcel of game and a fun to have during these encounters (in right way). Its not that I like chelsea but I hate them less than Scums (you know who I mean). It took me a day and lot of beers to get over the defeat (nice way to do it Wink).

I had similar opinion about you lot when I read the posts from some chelsea idiots on LFC forum. Its not that we hate your recent success (down to money or whatever it is. As you pointed out Money can't buy you trophies like Newcastle, Leeds and I can add Spurs to that list who spend fair ammount of money every year). I think most LFC fans want you to win EPL and CL this season since we can't stand the scums. As far as lot of LFC fans complaining about you buying EPL I have perfect explaination. After our 2 CL semifinal win over you guys, on LFC forum Chelsea fan : You were lucky. You don't deserve it. You are sh*te in EPL. LFC fan : We deserved it. We won Cl final. Chelsea fan : CL is nothing, EPL is hard to win (agreed). LFC fan : You bought it. In stupid debates like this, its expected people will try to back their arguments with anything. You derved your trophies as much as we deserved our CL success. Go on LFC official site and you can see our players paying tribute to you guys. Carra wants you lot win ahead of united. I thought the second leg was excellent game. We kept fighting but you guys edged it. Not ashamed of loosing to you and I am proud of red Men. They gave everything but it was not our day. So fair play to you guys. Wish you best for final.

Thanks but no am not. Why I have to answer that. I am not here moaning about your spending. Far from it. If I am here to debate on spending things, then its fair for you guys debating with 70's and 80's. But when I am not doing it, whats point in drawing me towards those unnecessary debates about spending.

First of all I don't like to moan about the spending things. So I just ignored his post not because I am jealous. Its crystal clear that if we think about spending thing, then we may never win the trophies ahead of Chelsea and Man U. But again Arsenal proved that you don't need to spend too much to buy quality players. The problem with Arsenal approach is that you need to be patient about it which unfortunately most LFC fans are not. But those who knows the truth and smart enough know that you mmust be patient about things. Its not that you can build a title challlenging squad in a year. As far as civilised Red fan comment goes, most people on Liverpool site can thing the same way about you lot when some idiots drop there and provoke opposition fans about Hillsbrough disaster. Is there any place for things like that in football. I guess not.

I am RedRobMol, and i would like to say...
http://www.liverpoolway.co.uk/forum/ff- ... t-now.html f*****g biggest low life scum ever to walk the planet. I will support every team you ever play against, even Leeds, Spuds and West Spam. First of all congratualtion for your win. Just got over the defeat and come here to congratulate you guys on your win. As I said before (on this forum), it was a cracking match (not old dull afairs) and you lot just edged it. I hope you win the damn thing against scums. As far as some the link you are mentioning, there are idiots everywhere. Even and RedandWhiteKop or ThisIsAnfield, you'll find some chelsea idiot fans provoking the forum members. Some unfairly commenting on Hillsbrough disaster. Now when some idiots do these kind of things, then expect the blood of other fans to boil down. I just do one thing ignore those kind of idiots since its not worth debating and there is no place for idiots like these. So I just want to say ignore those kind of twats and don't brand each LFC fan as bad due to some idiots. Your final will much depend on which Drogba turns on the pitch and you lot should hope its the drogba at Bridge rather than the one at Anfield. I don't know why the guy sometimes act like a jerk and resolve to diving when he has so much pace, power, skills to trouble oppositions. I will go and say if he play honestly, he is more dangerous than the diving one. Unfortunately for us it was honest drogba who showed up in second leg and to make matters worse, we lost Skrtel. Only he could have kept check on Drogba. Carra and Sami are too slow to deal with his pace and power. Any way best luck for the final.

Zola and Wise weren't exactly giants and it worked out alright for them. Zola was class with his skills. Yeah you are right that you don't need height if you have skills. The thing about spearing is he is a leader on field. When we won youth FA cup last season, Highway said this kid is ready for first team. And he seems to doing very well for reserves captaining them. Already we won reserve league which is good. He is as combative as gerrard, don't get muscled off the ball, scores goals (lot of them scremers), has good delivery on him. Hope he turns good. Anyway nice talking to you guys. You been nice to me. Good luck to you but as always I'll be cheering my team. May the best team win. Best luck with Premiership. I hope you lot win it instead of those arrogant c**ts.

I would also love to give him the job for life but for different reasons.

Not sure about that. But again I never payed that much attention at his ball skills but he is not on same level as Carvalho. Terry can chest the ball more accurately than most central defenders can kick it. Carvalho is top class as well mind you. May be I didn't pay much attention to him. You put good point about academy which Rafa is trying to do at LFC. We also have some good kid in our Rank. Insua - 19 Yr old Strong, Fast, skillfull left back. Won U20 world cup with Argentina. If you have seen Birmingham game, he came on in second half. Most people think he is ready but I think Rafa is delaying that due to his age factor and inexperience. Nemeth - 19 Yr Good skills and a supporting striker. Pretyy much Hero for reserve team. Pacheco - We got him from Barceloa. Got pace and can dribble past players with ease. Anderson - Fast right winger. Currently playin with Swasea and helped them win promotion. 10 goals this season - something Pennant can't do i.e score goals. Spearing - Mini Gerrard. But he is bit small in height which might work against him Hope we see some of these break though. I watched video of that Di santo kid. looks really good.

Anyone who's ever seen JT play even once would know he's possibly the best distributer of all Prem defenders. He's a top quality passer. Not sure about that. But again I never payed that much attention at his ball skills but he is not on same level as Carvalho.

30/4/08. Lampard / Ballack / Both?
Both with Essien on bench or at Right back.

You are right there are very few world class wingers out there. Thats a rare breed and pretty much why we are struggling to get one over the years. Proven ones don't come cheap and emerging one (like Babel) have risk attached to them (time to develop). But you could have done better than Malouda. Also I think you guys should have spent money bit wisely (age wise). No disrespect and you purchased fine players but I think you might need major haul in next few years with players n their wrong twenties.

Chelsea Vs Liverpool (2nd Leg)
Its hard to answer. We are disappointed with our display in EPL but if you go across Liverpool forums, pretty much everyone is happy with Rafa's work so far. When you compare the LFC side of 2004 with this one we have come a long way. But still we think there are few areas we need quality signings. Full backs (we don't have any world class one), wings and a back up striker to Torres. Also we don't have any cover for Torres. People here think about money spent this summer but don't know the board room problems. The loan which the yanks put on the club, we need to be in last 16 in Cl every year to just pay the interest to bank. So far Rafa had to settle on to second rate players due to lack of money except in case of Torres. Here are signings he missed due to money issues Alves - 2 Million short and bord refused to back manager. The deal would have been done for 11 odd millions. Now he is worth 25 million. We got Arbeloa for 2 million (I am still happy with him) Simao - Deal failed for again 1-2 million and we got Pennant who's decision making lets him down everytime. Quaresama Evra Walcott Vidic and the list goes. I am sure you agree we would have been a different team with these players. Anyway the biggest mistake Rafa did was not signing a CB at the start of the season. With agger injured for whole season, we had to reply on Carra and Hyppia. That cost us a lot compared to injuries to gerrard and Alonso after international matches. I think once Skrtel settled down, we did very well this season. Also Rafa invested lot in youth players and now we have some quality players waiting in wings. I think you guuys might see 2-3 players breaking in first team in next 2-3 years. Also if you look at our squad, its very young and we can add one or two players to thatt to strengthen the squad. Its not that we can change whole squad in a year to give us chance. So fara Rafa target one area at a time and strengthened it. So its on going process. I think he wants us to get to a level where we have a very good squad with having to make 1-2 changes to strengthen it instead of previous years where we needed to change 4-5 players. So all in all given situation, I am happy with progress. But still disappointed with league results. next season will truly decide Rafa's faith. But I don't think we can judge him based on our current progress. It will harsh given the constraints he has to work with.

The figures I've seen say you paid almost as much money for Torres alone. And Babel was about £10mil, or slightly over. Torres come around 20 million with Garcia deal and Babel around 11 million. So I was off the linee in saying that. I don't like getting into these spending crap because if you keep drooling over it, it won't be possible for us to overtake Man U in EPL. But to be honest I think Rafa used his money better compared to what happened with you guys. Not sure whose decisions were that but its none of my business. You completely wasted money on Sheva, SWP (56 million - you could have got Torres, Tevez, Babel with that along with Ballack as free gift. Wink) . Also I think you guys made mistake in selling likes of Robben. I rate dude (even though I don't like him) better than CR of Man U at dribbling. Messi and he seems to have developed that attitude which makes them think its their right to go past players. As far Malouda goes, I am thankful that he rejected us. he doesn't have pace at all to trouble defenders.

Chelsea Vs Liverpool (2nd Leg)
I agree with our luck against Arsenal. Inter, I don't think we were lucky. I am not saying you guys were lucky with Risse goal since i think our two players made mistake by not closing down Kalou. So I am not the one who will moan about it. As fars as Arsenal spending goes, they have different way of doing things and don't have anyything to show in trophy cabinet for last 3-4 years. Also I think they were very lucky with injuries this season. When they had injury crisis late in season, they went down on all fronts. Teams below us (everton) we are 9 points ahead of them, fighting for a Cl final with you. Basically I don't like to moan about spending thing since its not anybody's fault that other teams have more money than you. May be I should have kept quite but couldn't resist myself when someone commented on our spending.

To some extent I agree. We are disappointed that we are not close with money we spent. But at the same time you have to see the money spent by United and you guys to strengthen the squad. We still think we are short in some areas which we require before having a go at EPL. We don't have enough creative wide players to get result against small teams who park their bus. Babel shows flashes but is inconsistent and has stamina problems due to EPL pace. Also we don't have sufficient cover for Torres and Gerrad. Mascherano and Alonso can't play Gerrard's role. I think the ability to get results against small teams is hurting us more. If we don't get goal against them in first half, we loose our patience and composure. To be competent we need replacement for Torres (not world class but some one who can do a decent Job when he is off). Dirk Kuyt needs to go to be replaced by a player with decent pace and creativity. Good left back. Risse is not good with ball. Also we missed agger most this season. He is like Carvalho who knows how to get ball out of defense and not hoof it like Carra or Terry. At least we have Skrtel now who seems to have bit ball playing skills and it improved our run.

Getting the excuses ready, good lad ! I don't need any excuses. If you beat us in second leg, then Fair play to you guys. I am not the one who moans about millions $ difference. I expect my team to give fight there. No shame in going down fighting. I was just responding to a guy who slated us for spending some money this year. I think we got Torres and Babel for less money than what it costed for Sheva.

I think we slightly win on that front? Agree with you. I think Rafa and Grant never moaned about injuries like Fergie and Wenger does. After all it seems only United and Arsenal are victim of Injuries.

Chelsea Vs Liverpool (2nd Leg)
I am not gonna lie here. The momentum is pretty much with you guys. You have away goal, you are at home, you defeated Man U on saturday and you have enough squad strength with quality to put two sides with world class players. But then you have Grant as your manager. Nothinng against the dude and he did very well after the Jose chapter. But I don't think he is tactically that good. May be that Tent carte guy (who they say was brain behind Barca's Rajkkard) will get you lot going. They also say Grant was always lucky with Israel team. I hope he used all of his against us at Anfield.

There are ediots on every forum. If you want to talk about money, our net spend was only 26 million while you spent enough over the years. There is no comparision between you transfer budget and ours. You are able to put 20+ milllion or 30+ million signings on Bench. We can't. As simple as that. Also our Board room problems and injuries to key players didn't helped. We don't have bench like yours. In case of injury to Torres we would love to put likes of Kalou, Shev, Anelka on field instead of likes of Voronin.

Rafa's confusing mind games
To be frank he will never be good at mind games. The award goes to Fergie, Jose and Wenger.

Chelsea Vs Liverpool (2nd Leg)
Things will change if we get first goal. But so many times we have seen our players getting frustrated when things are not going well for them as the game progresses. If you remember last time we met, Agger goal was the turning point. Once we get on level terms with you, we started to play that patient game with you lot having to attack at us. Having said that Don't expect us to throw kitchen sink at you since we clearly don't have enough quality players to do that. The likes of Carra (one of the best defender but don't have ball playing skills), Risse (don't have ball playing skills), Kuyt (Crap first touch but we need his work rate for gerrard and Torres) cost us lot of time in our attacking play. On other side I can't find a weak link in your team except the right backs and I am surprised still you haven't fixed that with kind of Money you guys are capable of spending (Thank god you didn't got Alves whom we missed for just 10 million due to board room blunders). One more thing seriously I don't know why you guys play with Malouda. The guy has serious pace problems. I expected more after the way he played against Man u but then I thanked our starts for us missing on him and getting babel (who has potential but not better player than Malouda based on current performances). Also you guys are really lucky to have Carvalhon in your side. The dude literally covered asses of Paulo and terry at anfield against Torres and babel single handedly.

Chelsea Vs Liverpool (2nd Leg)
Usually I would have agreed with you but lately things seems to be changing. If you talk about 2004 and 2006, we did best what we could we do with our weak squad. But this Liverpool team evolved over years and now we have some good players in our Ranks which give us confidence to have a go. Also we don't have anything to loose from this game. Clearly we can't play for 0-0 this time, so we have to go at you and if Grant plays for 0-0, that will be a mistake I think. Most of us are hoping ggrant goes for 0-0 result since that will give us a good chance (I know its not easy to score against your defense but it might take one moment of brilliance from Gerrard or Torres and we both know they are capable of it). If I am at Graant's place, I'll go with same midfield which you had against Man U. But Lampard situation tells me that you'll play with the midfield you had at anfield with Essien playing at RB (Total waste of that talent at that position). But again I am not a big admirer of Paulo or Balletii when it comes to defending. Anyway be prepared for a good game since its unlikely we gonna sit back leaving opportunities for both sides.
