  1. I think its more than that with JT at the moment his head just seems somewhere else. This could possibly be the fallout of England Captain but poor Alex has been stuck between JT and Bose performing badly at the back in recent games. I just think as Ivanovich has played so well maybe its time to give Alex and Ivanovich some time together. Its a thought, seem to have a lot of injuries but then apparently the training is much shorter than the squd is used to so thats strange.
  2. IMHO JT must be dropped for the next game. In his current form he should be 3rd pick behind Alex and Ivanovich, he has single handedly been responsible for at least 3 goals if not more in the recent weeks.
  3. The only game we lost through the manager was the Roma Game. Scholari acted too early, changed the formation and Roma got the 2nd and 3rd. If we had stuck at it I think we would have won. Looking at the Burnley game they had two on target and scored one we had 8? on target and scored one. Hate to say it but we missed Anelka. Mikel taking a penalty tho. I cringed when I heard his name listening on five live, he should stick to what he is best at, although we were running out of options.
  4. -----------------------Cech Bosingwa-----Ricky-------JT------------Cole ---------------------Mikel Deco--------------Lampard----------Cole/Malouda --------------------Di Santo --------------------Anelka OR -----------------------Cech Bosingwa-----Ricky-------JT------------Cole ---------------------Mikel ---------Belletti------------Lampard --------------------Deco ----------Anelka----------Di Santo
  5. If that was the case you could have almost said he won the premiership for Man U. His work rate is second to none and for me he would be a welcome difference to our current crop of lazy strikers
  6. I didn't think Anelka played all that badly. The problem in the last two games has been the link (Malouda, Kalou) from midfield has just broken down and Anelka is just isolated and when he does hold up the ball invariably he has no one to pass to quickly enough. Drogba and Ballack were made for the last two games. If we continue to use Anelka we need to goto 4 4 2. I think Anelka needs the likes of Di Santo close to him. This means putting Kalou on the bench, but after his display yesterday that would be deserved. di Santo Anelka malouda Frank Deco Mikel Cole JT Carvalho Bosingwa Cech Anyway if I had to choose one of the games to lose out of Liverpool or Roma it would be the Liverpool game even though the text's have already started to arrive.
  7. I thought Malouda was at his best again. I also thought Anelka was looking a lot better than previously. Pity he came off in the second half otherwise I think he would have had more. Ballack also seems to be getting back to fitness.
  8. This has come up as a rumour on the BBC site again. I fail to see why this would be a bad signing he has a better record for Sevilla than Drogba has for us Goals per game. I cannot think of a footballer who has not had previous problems. That is why we pay so much for a manager. We need goals, Drogba is going to take time to recover and Anelka just looks out of sorts. If we wait we could write off any chances we have this season. To me looking at his record in a football sense and having faith the manager could control him this could be a better signing than Robinho, who has never performed in europe to date!
  9. Living just up the road from Liverpool and working in Manchester I agree with you. I have to put up with the B****S day in and day out. Going on a stag do with 20+ of them tomorrow. Taking my Chelsea shirt for the Liverpool v Stoke game at the weekend tho. Come on you Potters!!!!
  10. Agreed but, the way some opposition fans go on JT is the antichrist. Fergie!!!! that makes me laugh.
  11. JT has been cleared. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...sea/7614903.stm Chelsea captain John Terry has been cleared to play against Manchester United on Sunday after his appeal against a red card proved successful. Terry was sent off for a foul on Manchester City striker Jo, but a Football Association hearing upheld Chelsea's claim of wrongful dismissal. The England skipper had been set to miss three games after being dismissed for serious foul play. More to follow.
  12. This maybe just what the team needed. Players should take a look now and realise they will get plenty of game time as the squad is not so big, they should also realize they need to start playing well else they will be out of the door come the January window. They can no longer hide or use excuses. I think Aneka will come into his own if we play a 442 with Anelka and Drogba up top. It is time for some of the players to stand up and earn their money, we have the quality.
