I would say 5 out of 14. At the pace they are going though; they will be lucky to shift out 4. Presently only Petrovic has been sold 4 weeks into the window. Window closes in 6 weeks.
  2. Agree with Scott Harris. We do need a LW though especially a starting one. I don’t think Gittens is ready or good enough to be our starting LW.
  3. Think there is a conversation to be had sometime in the season about Enzo’s role in the team. He just can’t & isn’t a “10”. I am also convinced Maresca is cautious about playing him in a deep role.
  4. You would hope they are smart enough to include a buyback/Sell on clause.
  5. Arsenal is probably is best bet in that respect. Easier to get games ahead of Lewis-Skelly than Cucurella or Kerkez/Robinson.
  6. Aren’t you essentially describing Veiga? Think Maresca made a hash of things with Veiga when he played James & Gusto ahead of him at LB. No way Hato opts for a squad role. He is the future of Holland’s defence. I feel the club and manager are better off working things out with Veiga and giving him so guarantees. Cucurella is like Caicedo under Marseca; if he is fit he starts. Any new signing will be wasting his time playing backup to either of the two. You might need an Act of God to get game time.
  7. It requires a top team to meet his transfer fee, and he is adamant he is only moving to play not sit on the bench. He really has little need to move presently as he gets to play CL every year, and compete for trophies at an early age with A**x.
  8. Villa want a steep £80m for him which is ridiculous. At that amount he will need to be a starter not depth.
  9. Reckon it will be Emitke to Newcastle Jackson to Utd And something majority of fans dread; Granacho to Chelsea You would just hope the Granacho is an initial obligation to buy if he does well here. Don’t mind if Jackson is the same stipulations for Utd.
  10. For the quoted fee he will need to be a starter wherever he lands
  11. Well said. Or better still loan out Guiu, sell Jackson for £60m, and sign Calum Wilson on a free transfer. Zero need to keep Jackson as 3rd choice or spend big money on one
  12. Bayern Munich have enquired about the availability of Malo Gusto (22), with a view to a potential transfer from Chelsea. You would think the smart thing would be to open talks and sell for around £50m. Josh is ready to step up as James’ deputy.
  13. Hato isn’t coming here to sit on the bench, when he gets to start and play CL football at A**x. C’mon seen approach was either to reintegrate Veiga or all Ishe Smith to deputise. They aren’t going to get a decent competition for Cucurella at £20m.
  14. We have Palmer & Caicedo, + James when Marseca plays him. The have Raya, Saka, Rice, Gabriel & Saliba. We are 3-4 quality players away from catching up
  15. I don’t think it’s as clear cut as deciding to leave because of new signings, there would have been conversations had behind the season. Its easy to paint Noni as the bad guy, but he is the easiest to shift out of our attack because he is on the lowest wages.
  16. I reckon he will be gone before the window closes. This window is the one we are going to get the maximum fee if he isn’t deemed a starter. His value will drop drastically next season if he 2nd-3rd choice CF.
  17. Our 3rd highest goal scorer in the PL last season right?
  18. “Strasbourg have agreed a deal with Chelsea to sign Amougou on a permanent deal” This is another signing I never understood, why did we even sign him? Will be interesting to see what amount Strasbourg put on their books. Sarr & Anselminho are another two I just don’t see the point. They are never going to get minutes.
  19. It’s all over the internet. €11m loan fee + £250k/w wages for 6mths
  20. Fair point. I feel whoever sanctioned the deal needs to be sacked. Fans keep forgetting we paid €10m for a 6mth loan deal which was ridiculous, and we picked up his wages. Was bang average, went to Barca who passed on him, and somehow someone still signed off on a €52m deal.
  21. You want to play Enzo a guy that can’t track runners in a midfield 3 v Vitinha-Neves-Ruiz? It’s going to be a long evening, & Fabian Ruiz will have a field day. Personally will switch Santos in & bring Enzo in 2 half.
  22. “Benfica are prioritising the signing of Joao Felix, and are preparing a €20m bid for 50 per cent of his rights. Felix is said to be willing to take a pay cut to rejoin his former club” That is a disrespectful offer.
  23. Watch us go and buy another player.
  24. Going from Barca to the Championship will be a hell of a fall, and it’s all down to the Club’s mismanagement. If he had stayed at Barca, he will be backup for Lewandowski and getting solid mins. You see Gonzalo Garcia at Real Madrid starting and looking like a capable deputy for Mbappe. A loan move to Strasbourg competing with the injury prone Emegha, and getting solid mins in the Conference league will be perfect. Issue is club probably has 15-20 players that will benefit from the Strasbourg loan move.
