  1. http://static4.businessinsider.com/image/51005affecad043e36000009/screen-shot-2013-01-23-at-4.50.46-pm.jpg I didn't think it was a particularly appropriate thing to put immediately after the incident. That statement from the official Chelsea FC Twitter doesn't put us in a good light.
  2. Tony Evans from The Times isn't being very nice. He is as scouse as they come though.
  3. https://twitter.com/chelseafc/status/294194277423124480 You utter morons, Chelsea FC! Are you trying to hand as much evidence as possible for the media to use against us?
  4. Too true, I'm afraid. God knows what the ball boy was up to but you just cannot kick the guy, I'm afraid it was deserved. My god, how has it all gone wrong?! Out of all the cups, Di Matteo sacked for nothing, Terry banned, and now Hazard gives the club more bad press. Once again, we're the 'nasty club' and we bring it all on ourselves. So frustrating, I'm frankly sick of it.
  5. Not David Luiz?!? There will be riots in the streets.
  6. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21111817 Apparently us who criticise Fernando Torres "don't have any clue". So Fernando is doing a great job then, topic closed, it's all okay now. Wait, are those rose tints in Rafa's glasses???
  7. I swear to god if we squander a 2-goal lead again... The atmosphere will be mutinous.
  8. I thought I heard that too! Wasn't just me then!
  9. Well, this is going better than I expected. I've probably cursed it now.

  11. Torres starts and no Luiz. 0-3 to Arsenal. Sorry everyone, I'm not optimistic.
  12. I think we have a very difficult decision to make regarding Thibaut. From what I seen of him, he looks ready to feature in the Chelsea squad already. I, like other users, have doubts that Thibaut will be too willing to head from a Champions League La Liga side to a mid-table Premier League side to aid his 'development'. So I think we have three options for him next season: Keep Thibaut at Chelsea and let him challenge Petr Cech for the No. 1 position. Sell Petr Cech, for a huge profit. Sell Thibaut Courtois, for a huge profit. Now, I realise that there's a lot of loyalty to Petr, I feel that too, but there's certainly a lot of benefits to favouring Thibaut over the pair. Petr has probably another 5+ years at the top level but Thibaut has at least another 10+ and is most likely on lower wages too. Quite handy from an FFP perspective. Petr on the other hand has been a great goalkeeper for us for years and I do not want to see him go. Personally I would like to keep them both on next season, challenge each other for the No.1 position, and then let the 'loser' go at the end with our gratitude. One thing's for certain though, we cannot keep them both for long.
  13. I thought it was closer to £18m. Looked quality today.
  14. Is it just me or has JT barely featured this season? It'll be great to have him back.
  15. http://www.weaintgotnohistory.com/2013/1/8/3849712/unsafe-at-any-price-why-fernando-torres-is-gone-for-good Fernando Torres has gone for good, according to this article.
  16. Good, Marko Marin needs a winger to talk to on the bench.
  17. May have been asked already but does anybody know if this is on TV?
  18. I remember reading an article a while back from Thibaut saying that Chelsea's plan was to loan him to Atletico for two years, then to a PL side, then to replace Cech... Hang on, just found it: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2051245/Petr-Cech-Chelsea-future-doubt-says-Thibaut-Courtois.html 'Chelsea’s goalkeeping coach told me he doesn’t know how much time Cech can play at the top level,' the 19-year-old told Spanish radio station Onda Cero. 'I know he has problems in his knees and on his back. 'Chelsea told me to spend two years at a club like Atletico. After that one season in an English team so I can integrate myself into the Premier League.'
  19. Probably nonsense, but apparently Hulk could leave Zenit for Chelsea in Jan: http://www.weaintgotnohistory.com/2012/12/5/3731346/hulk-links-to-chelsea-in-january-are-lazy-journalism-at-their-finest As stated in the article, could would be eligible to play for us until the next season. Also I imagine that Zenit would want at least £40m for him. After all, that's how much they paid for him six months ago. Despite that though, I'd still welcome him here wilth open arms!
  20. I quite like this article written by Matt Dickinson in The Times:
  21. Maybe we should try Fernando in the double pivot then? He couldn't do a worse job than he does up front right now.
