  1. This is against Arsenal in 1973.... back in the good ole days it was a really big crowd at the bridge that day, you can see the North Stand has still got that little stand in the corner then.

Yeah well said about Robbie Its not the end of the world although it might feel like it lol we have got through worst before like in the 80S etc and always bounce back nuffin will stop me supporting and watching Chelsea play whoever the manager is, i dont like or want Benitez here but he is so theres f**k all we can do about now just another stupid decision by Roman but hopefully come the start of next season Jose is back where he belongs.

  7. i am currently writing a book about our exploits on the terraces from seasons 79/80 up to 85/86 and i thought it would be a good idea to get some different views or experiences from the lads that were there back in the day adding to material i have already wrote of my own, as not everyone was in the same places at the same times there,s many a different tale about any one game, the book is work in progress at the moment so if you would like to help me and you have any stories that i could add to the book please email me. . .   9. lol yeah every game in those days woz brilliant i remember about 50 of us were ordered to get on our hands and knees & crawl over a hill once so we wernt spotted then ran down the other side of the hill & steamed into em cant remember where we woz though now, lol fink it woz sumwhere poxy like cambridge

I went on harkins coaches a few times in the early eighties, one time at sheffield wednesday when we were all ordered to jump off the coach in ones and twos as it crawled through the slow traffic near the ground we mingled in with the wednesday fans and went in there end only about thirty of us got in but they had sussed us coming and we got f**king battered just inside the turnstiles lol he did love to take an end our danny ! :angry:

The first game i went to was v Palace fa cup 5th round feb 1976 i was 11yrs old me & a couple of me mates all same age & all first time at the bridge, we went in the shed, i remember malcolm allison in his big hat, we lost 3-2 & there was loads of fighting in the north stand during the game it was a brilliant day though, i cant remember the line up that day or a lot of other details really do you mate?
  12. does anyone remember the cup game against palace feb 1976 ? it was the first game i went to i was 11 and stood in the shed it was brilliant, i fink there was 52,000 in the bridge that day
