So we are going to sign a guy for 30 mil and then loan out Moses who scored 10 goals and had 4 assists last year? (Better stats then Willian playing much better competition) Moses works his ass off for the team and Willian can't play any D at all. Makes no sense at all. Woud really question Jose if this move happens.

Too much depth. Don't need Willian at all. Just a stupid buy especially for that amount. Why buy him and have guys like Schurrle, KDB and Moses play less?

With Jose saying he wants a 22 player squad, what are the thoughts about who should be? Maybe I am way off but I don't see it with Willian. Personally think he is extremely overrated. I don't see what he does that Moses can't do? Moses is just as flashy when running at a defender plus he's younger and a homegrown player.

Except we would e getting the worse end of the deal. Losing a younger, better footballer who is loved by the fans for a striker who may or may not play at a high level. Oh and by the way, Utd would then basically have two of the top players in the PL in the last two years. (Mata/RVP) Why would we do that? Why doesnt Spurs just sell Bale to Utd too. I don't get these rumors with Mata and Luiz. Basically the two fan favs of Chelsea. The two guys that are leading this team after the "old" players leave. Why would Jose even consider selling these guys?

Did I miss something? Where is all this Moses leaving talk coming from? He was great in the preseason and Jose was quoted saying how much he liked how he played.

Not sure why Lampard was playing today much less 2 full games in a row. He was awful today. Somebody like KDB could have been in that spot and gave us more pace. Thought Ba was even worse and Lukaku should have started. Overall not a great game from the whole team but the 3 points is what matters. Most teams are going to sit back and play compact so we gotta figure that out.

I guess this is for anybody in the states but has anybody noticed that the PL won't be on FSC much/if at all this year? I guess NBC paid a quarter billion to broadcast PL games. They will be on NBC Sports channel and national TV. Any ideas how that effects how many Chelsea games will be on TV?

Is it pretty clear that if we sign Rooney, one of our current strikers will be going somewhere? Having Rooney, Torres, and Ba doesn't sit well for the development of Lukaku. I am for signing Rooney. I think he will be motivated and have something to prove, but I think this is a key year for Lukaku and he needs playing time. I actually think Rooney could play with Lukaku.

I would be in for that. Lets get it going!
