How can you seriously be defending the moves that we have made? There is no sense to them at all. To be honest I wouldn't even be surprised if we did sell Mata at this point.

Not good moves at all. Who is running this club?

I have been to st. Petersburg and Moscow plenty of times so I have seen my fair share of Willian and Eto'o. They both played very lazy last year and the quality wasn't there. Maybe the move to an actual competitive league and Jose's motivation will help but I am just going off of the last couple years.

I don't know why so many people are so high on Van Ginkel? And no he is not an upgrade over Mikel or Essien? And no, I don't see Willian as an upgrade over Moses. I have seen Willian play a ton and he is extremely overrated. He can produced the occasional play but he is lazy, especially when he was in Russia. Talk about big fish in a small pond. Moses always worked his ass off for the team.

To be fair, brazil doesn't have another true 10. A lot of creative wingers and cm with engines but no #10. Plus for brazil Oscar drops deep anyway to get out of the way of neymar, hulk, etc when they come inside. Maybe Coutinho but he has just come on recently

I'm sorry, maybe I worded wrong. We did improve our squad with depth but upgrading it in the starting 11 is not something we did. We really need a driving force with some passing ability at DM. Van Ginkel is not there yet. We needed a true goal scorer. Lukaku may be that but he needs to play.

Van ginkel, eto'o, and Willian are not upgrades at all, Lukaku has yet to get any real playing time, Schurrle and KDB are good options but are they upgrades from who we started last year?

It really does look like teams are bringing in players to improve their squads while we really haven't. I just don't see Willian having the same impact as players like Soldado, Ozil, etc.

And yet 90% of the people on this place say its not about stats and enjoying watch we watch when it comes to our boring sit back, counter attacking style. So our players have to have flair and be enoyable to watch but then we sit back and don't attack?? By the way, moses was our most direct player who liked to run at people and take them on. How is that enjoyable to watch?

How did he not stand out? He had 10 goals and 4 assists in 43 games. Oscar had 12 goals and 9 assists in 64 games. As a squad player who gets mostly sub appearances, Moses produced.

This is Chelsea, if you don't develop quickly you will never play. Our youth don't get many chances here.

Still don't understand this move. We have Moses who is very direct, works hard defensively, and scred 10 goals for us last year. Oh and he is homegrown. Then we go out and sign Willian who doesn't work as hard on D and is not homegrown? A move that makes no sense. Feel gutted for Victor. He is being given the Sturridge treatment.

And yet, we sat back against them? We didnt attack them or press them like liverpool are.

I'm sorry but we dont have RM quality. I get we have the wings like Hazard and others to play the role of Ronaldo and Di Maria. But, khedira is miles ahead of what we have in the midfield. His drive and passing is something we don't have. Lamps is too slow and Ramires doesn't have the passing ability. Also, I personally think Ozil is the best #10 in the world. He is better than Oscar at this point.
