Watched the game late. Great performance by the team. Thought some guys that don't usually play really stood out. Personally I feel that Bertrand is doing more than Cole. Was really good today. For the second game in a row, Mike played really well. Would like to see him paired with Ramirez more often. Dave looked good again and no words can describe Mata. KDB was not really in the game again which was disappointing. Overall, great game.

Southampton press better than we do. I know they are playing Fulham but they have looked good all year. Everybody has really responded to the system there.

No way Cole is the best lb in the world still. He was at one time but not for the last two years. I expect the best left back in the world to be able put in a good cross once in a while. Plus thus year teams have had success attacking him. He has dropped off a lot in my eyes. I actually have liked what Ruan has done when he has come on. He is much better than Cole going forward. I think he deserves more games

Nike/Umbro is way better than Adidas. And it seems Nike pays better too.

I really hope it doesn't happen, but I just don't see him getting a spot. I think the kid has a ton of potential. He would be great as a second striker type player, kind of like Rooney, playing off somebody like Lukaku. I just don't see him finding a spot in our system though.

Man I don't know who is worse today. Ivan or Luiz? We are doing a nice job getting the ball wide to Ivan in space but he has been wasteful. Hazard needs to really take this game over. We need some individual brilliance.

For the life of me I can't see why Ivan is playing RB this game. Cardiff are obviously going to sit back. Perfect game for Azi to play and play more forward. Play Ivan at CB with Dave out at RB. Ivan has been awful going forward. Switching the play quickly has worked the best. Getting Hazard, Willian, or mata in space would be ideal. We are not going to get anything through the middle that's for sure. 1-1 is pretty fair at the moment. Probably should be 0-0.

I do get your point. maybe coming on after his debut was wrong but when people like DKH (which is what he now is to me, he knows what it stands for) comes on after every match thread to critique and criticize others' opinions without giving their own, it hard not to get into it with them. That being said, it doesn't change my opinion of Willian being overrated for 30 mil. 30 mil is a lot of money and for that price I just feel like he better be a starter and he better produce. Mata didn't cost 30 mil and he had close to 15 goals, 15 assists in his first year. Hazard cost just over 30 mil and had close to 15 goals, 20 assists in his first year in the PL. I don't see those numbers coming from Willian. If he does produce those numbers, great. I hope he does, but I don't see it.

Not true at all. If you have read my posts you would have read that I have seen him play many many times. Enough times to make an opinion of him. I have been to Russia many times and watched him play on tv and live. He played lazy at Anzhi and was inconsistent at Shakhtar. So that is where I make my opinion of overrated for the 30 mil, especially when we had Moses. I have stuck to that statement ever since. We had some issues coming into the year and that 30 mil could have been spent elsewhere.

Ok. First off I have been away on business and missed the game. Just watched it today. Not that you care anyway. I also find it very moronic that people try to prove their point after one game and one goal. People see one goal or one win and they think it justifies 30 mil or it means that the team is fixed. Yes, Willians goal was great, a wonderful goal. BUT that doesnt justify spending 30 mil (more than we paid for Mata, Oscar, Ramires and almost Hazard) Please find where I have ever said Willian was a bad player. I have said for 30 mil, he is overrated. For 30 mil he better be scoring a lot. Peoples reactions after one goal is crazy. Its the same as the people that say after every Torres goal, "he's back!" He will never be back. The same goes for the team. I have never said we are awful or we wont finish top 4. Yes I disagree with some of the decisions that Jose has made and I feel like his style this time is a bit off, but I have never said he is a bad manager and that he should be gone. I do find it ironic that we start to play better once Mata has been in the lineup. As for DKW, you always act like you are such a great supporter and that your views are always right, but it is very cowardly to sit and say nothing during the game and then log on after to pick through in-game posts of other people. As you would say, something a "d**khead" would do.

You said "he seems to drop off a bit" and "it seems like a fitness issue." I consider that picking at something negative from a player that has scored 4 goals in 3 games. And next time DKW, try to come up with something better than d**khead. Clever!
