I have a bad feeling joey wont make the 23, for me he would be in the starting 11. He has been a luxury player for chelsea this season but as he showed against man u and wigan what a luxury to have.

Kalou poor, but joe cole looked lively and will start ahead of him easily! With the main man Maluda and coley being rested i have confidence for the run in.

Joe cole, great goal, amazing pass to set up feirra got some important tackles in tracked back. Great all round performace from the team.

I agree Drogba should start, but has to be for anelka! Need to keep the shape with Malouda and Joey. Anelka and drogba doesnt work.

Has to be the same 11! apart from drogba for anelka. love the balance with maluda and coley on the wings! Then to have subs like Anelka, kalou and ballack to come on for Drogba, j.cole and deco we look v.v strong!

J.cole for sturridge! Looked alot more balanced when coley came on. Deco should keep his place ahead of ballack!

He has had a few decent games this season when playing on the wing! For me we looked great when drogz was at african nations and j.cole and anelka were playing in natural posistions! Joe isnt a central midfielder, he has great crossing ability and can shoot cutting in from the wing. Im not saying drop drodga but surely anyone can see that we should go with J.cole drogs/anelka maluda hopefully this will happen at p'mouth.

He played well agianst Man City. Him kakuta or kalou have to play against P'Mouth Anekla and drogba isnt working! Id go for J.cole/Kakuta/......Drogba/anelka/..........Malouda why Anelka is being pushed out to the right handside i dont know! Carlos have the balls to drop Anelka or maybe even Drogba!

Joe cole hasnt been playing much at all in the last few games...Has He!!!!! Man City - played well pulled off after 60mins! West ham - came on late in the game looked pretty good! Inter - put on in a defensive central midfield role and surprise surprise he looked out of place in that posistion! play him on the wing! and he will be fine! But all this joe cole has had lots of chances is rubbish, I do agree he is still below par, but he isnt get enough game time in his natuaral posisition!

If Fergie does get hold of him! I worry that joe could become one of the best players in the world and Carlo will have made a big mistake! Like alot of people have said its alot to do with confidence! and Carlo is hardly installing that in him hauling him off after 60mins when he played well, then oh next match dropped for Kalou!

Joe should go, he's starting to be treated unfairly by Carlo! Had a top game against man city then he is pulled off after 60mins against man sh*ty and dropped for sh*tty Kalou!

Joe cole going off at 60mins makes no sence!. With joe its all about his confidence and yesterday he was beating players showing neat touches and set up lamps with a lovely pass!

Good to see Joe in, far too much quality and only a matter of time before he turns in a MOM performance! Although I feel he played well through the african nations period!

Joe Cole, had his best performance since his return from a knee injury for me, created the first goal beating Lee Bowyer for pace down the right and a delightful cross for maluda!. Also had a good few efforts on goal!. I think he's slowly getting back to his best!
