I will make the club more attractive for fans to attend, and also a very cool environment for players to play in. It also will add value to the club, should Roman want to sell down the road, a much nicer home to move into, if you like.

I have already convinced myself that we will have 5 or 6 lean years from here. For me top 4 and a few cup runs is the only achievable aim for the next while until the stadium is built and paid for. Anything on top of that is a bonus (maybe even getting the first targets will be a bonus!)

The squad needs freshening up, we look a bit leggy. Its been a rough and disappointing season. I would almost rather us not in the Europa at all, and go on another league charge next season if we can get some new guys. I'd still have Conte if given the chance - I totally get his frustration. He won the league and wasn't supported to rebuild for another successful campaign. You cant stand still after winning the league, everyone knows this, you have to keep freshening it up piece by piece to fight again, but we have allowed complacency to creep in and this is the reward.

We gave it our all, and were punished by some clinical finishing. We played well for a lot of it and were unlucky to not to score more. We hit the wood work.... what.....4 or 5 times over the two legs. Courtois was awful last night though, really poor. Conte's tactics were spot on, we had so many chances, he cant be blamed if players hit the woodwork, or miss, thats on them!
