Not looking good, Cech saved us. They seem deflated by the late Utd win...

Possibly. I feel if City make it which is looking increasingly likely they'll become seriously difficult to dislodge with their spending power. They're not far from mounting a title challenge which will be their next goal so Spurs may have to settle for 5th or 6th in seasons to come depending on how Liverpool pan out. However with some vital united players retiring including VDS and Fergie reaching the end of his career its going to be difficult to call how that situation will fall; them being knocked out of the top 4 would be f**king hilarious though I'm sure we'll all agree!

I agree with you there 100%. He's quickly making my most hated list. This bullsh*t he ALWAYS pulls on corners of deliberately attempting to impede keepers really pisses me off and I just wish one of them would knee him in the face. But it was Everton at OT, every year they roll over and let fergie have his way with them and this year was no different. Even if we can't claw it back it'll be our own fault though, we should have taken this title a while ago.

Does Rio have to shoot somebody to concede a penalty?

Just cannot see Everton getting anything out of this. They're practically rolling over for them and its amazing United are too sh*t to capitalise on it yet.

http://www.rbs6nations.com/en/ireland/ireland_home.php They play with a united Rugby Union team (one of the best in the world as well) so that excuse seems a bit ridiculous to me as well. I'd wager a British national sports team would cause more of an uproar in fact (except the Lions tour every 4 years again in rugby union). Back to Everton!

I understand why Carlo is starting Torres, this is the last of our "easy" fixtures in the run in, from here we have Spuds, United and Everton with Newcastle in the middle somewhere. For those games we're going to want Drogba going full throttle and this is perhaps Torres' last chance this season to regain his form and become our secret weapon in our last second title defence.

Considering their injury issues, squad morale, current form and general disinterest from their players I expect an absolute mauling on the scale of what we saw late season 2010. Carlo should field the same 11 but I'm hoping for Torres to get a good opportunity to restore form.

If anyone saw Man Uniteds trip there we should give them a serious pounding. The amount of chances they created from a largely average game for them was astonishing. I don't think West Ham created a single chance and only got the scoreline through some penalties from idiotic United errors for the most part. Hopefully Torres gets his shot at a team in disarray and we bring our GD way up with a massacre. Their players mostly look forlorn and uninterested, Avram is out of ideas and they're hanging on by a thread. Lets go in for the kill.

Torres to shave his head then?

Chelsea v Birmingham (PL) 20/04/11 KO 19:45 BST
I wouldn't worry too much about David Luiz. He's only 22, extremely talented and is just a bit too eager to perform leading to a few bad decisions. In attack bad decisions lead to missed chances which isn't a tragedy - in defence however it can cost penalties. I'm confident he'll iron them out and learn when he needs to make the challenge and when he just has to block a strikers run like he should have against Birmingham.

We're now 6 points behind them and 4 GD behind. 3 of those points are under our direct control. Somehow we've clawed ourselves back into contention.

Accept that we need to send out Drogs to do the business ahead of Torres but he better not get another pitiful amount of time to try and score something adding another goalless game to the media's tally.

The issue is we need to rely on Arsenal to take 3 points from them which doesn't fill me with confidence. Lets hope for a crushing CL exit. - Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals
