  1. Barca diving defensively now.
  2. Real playing like they have nothing to lose, and they don't. If Jose can beat them at their own game it'd just be incredible.
  3. You know this doesn't worry much after reflecting on it. Nobody can doubt that we've been lucky recently but I don't think Webb is going to screw us over unfairly. I believe this because of the way Ancelotti conducts himself, say what you will about his ability as a manager but the man oozes class. I've never heard him criticise referee decisions, question their integrity or competence. I think the officials respect him greatly for that because the other 19 managers in this league piss and moan at every decision to go against them every week - and Ferguson is up there with Wenger and Mourinho for the all time bitching record. If anything, Ancelotti is the most likely reason we've had the rub of the green or the benefit of the doubt from the officials lately - because he treats them with respect. Even if Webb pulls off an Ovrebo, Carlo will just say "thats football." Drogba however will have his own way of showing his dissatisfaction.
  4. Following up on your point Cam, and I understand where you're coming from, the FA might ban him again: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/may/02/alex-ferguson-manchester-united-referees
  5. What do you expect? He's a classless man coaching a classless self entitled team. I know we're capable of beating them, I have confidence that we'll go there and give it our all - and I hope we give them a good walloping without any controversy so they finally have to look inwards for blame having pulled off the biggest bottle job in premier league history.
  6. Its reasonable to assume they'll send out the same 11 that beat us twice in the CL which was: VDS Evra Ferdinand Vidic O'Shea Giggs Park Carrick Nani Rooney Hernandez I can see him swapping out Park for Valencia though.
  7. We can't just ignore the bias he's displayed towards United over the years, this has really got me worried now. He may be our most competent reff but I certainly don't trust him when it comes to Utd.
  8. Has Roman ever spoken to the press? Whenever I see them "quoting" him I know its bullsh*t. He's too rich to care about those idiots.
  9. If anyone can beat them there its us. Tactics, mentality and starting 11 need to be spot on. Their home performances haven't exactly been awe inspiring, they've just been grinding out the results. Lots of 1-0's in the list. Denying them number 19 after overcoming a 15 point deficit will just be incredible, Fergie's face would be priceless.
  10. Luiz could really make the difference here. They beat us twice in the CL mainly because of defensive mistakes I've never seen Luiz make (his only problem is rash challenges in the box). He is strong and fast enough to keep Rooney and Hernandez under control and would never allow Giggs the kind of space he was afforded in the CL.
  11. They win nothing and City who haven't won anything in living memory take the FA cup!
  12. I have a feeling Fergie will rest his best for Shalke (I hope they knock them out because of it). One interesting factor is they have 2 favourable outcomes to this match, a win and a draw. If they play for a draw like today I think we'll really punish them.
  13. I hope he gets another touchline ban for that, its almost as bad as what Mourinho said though insinuation. Clearly trying to do us out of any fair decisions with his f**king mind games.
  14. We've really rattled their cage and they seem to be bricking it on Redcafe. Best quote over: "Chelsea are going to come at us hard and fast at old trafford. Massive game, I expect a lot of bookings here. Pretty much down to expierence and leadership now, I can see Terry the Lionheart giving it the big man for the Blues, really need Rio and Vidic to step it up into 5th gear now..." I laughed for a good 15 minutes at that.
  15. Can't make a prediction. I don't think they've lost there this season. We have the mid week CL tie on our side and they're now under enormous pressure. The team should be fired up beyond measure after this weekends results. Drogba vs Torres? We can't play them together. It needs to be a 433 with one or the other. Last season Ancelotti started with Drogba on the bench and brought him on as an impact sub to great effect. I wouldn't be opposed to starting Torres and switching him out after he's made Vidic chase him around for 60 minutes.
  16. Provided we go out 433 without Torres and Drogs together I'll be confident. We have 2 world class strikers who play very different styles. Switching them out when the Utd defence has settled into handling one could well become the deciding factor. I'd prefer Drogba as the impact sub because he gets so fired up on the bench and tends to shred games when he's like that.
  17. I'm trying to recall it happening before. But should we win the title is this THE greatest comeback in PL history? We were 5th a month ago. United in 2000 is the only one I can imagine.
  18. Blackburn away is a banana skin for them and they're in danger of relegation so could be a shock draw. Blackpool however is another story.
  19. OMFG!! Greatest Title comeback in history on the cards?!
  20. Story of their life. They get possession, create wonderful chances and never convert.
