I'm somewhat surprised to say this but I'm excited to see how he does with England this summer - I don't think Rooney has ever had a player ahead of him for England in such a vain of form. Anyway regarding the question - I won't shock anyone, my answer has been the same since before he left us. I've said he is a 20 goal a season striker ever since his loan at Bolton.

Because we have the equivelent of Oscar/Hazard up top - I mean how do you even compare KdB and Mata compeating with those two to Lukaku compeating with Ba/Torres(Eto'o as far as I know is already agreed to return to Mallorca). Next year there is no World Cup, thus being a second striker would be suitable for Lukaku. The real problem for him would be having to compeate with someone like Cavani/Suarez - compeating with a Costa type striker there is chances for him to stake his claim. Anyway people writting him off before a run at the club are silly - as silly as the ones who wrote of Sturridge before he ever had a run in his favorite position.
