We have a strategy, most of these young lads don't make it here but we make a profit on them. Our loaning system is a way to make us a profit, signing players with potential that can be loaned out if they are unable to make it into the first team. They gain experience, increase their price and finally get sold off. Especially in certain positions like attacking midfielders and wide players there is a lot of competition here and Jose likes a particular type of player. Young players sometimes are simply trying too hard to impress while at CFC and when they get loaned out the pressure is easier to deal with since their starting spot is not as threatened. Looking at Salah the reason he is doing well is that he is good in a counter attacking system. Personally I didn't see enough of Salah while he was in CFC and now he gets a chance to play constantly in Fiorentina and is grabbing his chances there. This is great for us because he will undoubtedly raise his price, still I don't think he would be as effective with a club who constantly faces opponents who sit deep and don't allow much space for us. The goal against Juve was impressive
