Not really, a drop off form means he can shake it off, if he's carrying an injury he's going to need rest until it heals, he can't keep playing on it.

Are you honestly saying Oscars performance was acceptable? Not by any stretch of the imagination was it, yes he wasn't invisible in the 2nd half but he still lost the ball plenty of times with his poor first touch. Much improvement needed still.

United crashing out of top 4 is brilliant, it will postpone them challenging for the title. They wouldn't challenge next season anyway, they still need more time but it delays more transition, makes it more difficult if they stay out of top 4.

Best game he has had since City away, you could say only good game he has had. He was very good coming on, I bet we were all worried when he came on to do the Matic role but I think he would have done better than Matic would have done if he stayed on. Held his ground a lot, won the ball back but the most bizarre thing I saw was his distribution, really kept the game flowing, very surprising to see from him. However this is Ramires at the end of the day and sadly he will go back to square one next game.

Honestly he's looking very rusty, he needs to start games. I don't think he is going to make an impact this way by trying to impress us in little game time. I say give him a start next game and see how he does, I really think he should have started today despite how bad he was coming on. He needs to work on his link up play definitely, Willian perhaps not the best at creating chances at least he can always play Ivanovic through, Cuadrado was struggling at even that. Looked very rusty to me, is it quality? We can only know he's good enough if he's actually given a chance.

Take it back to the Newcastle game, he had a bad game and because he scored the goal not many people were criticising him. I felt that he was making more of an impact the 2nd half, that's a good sign to see, but the first half jesus christ, he was abysmal. Nowhere to be seen all game and when he did get the ball he gave it away and couldn't control it. You expect to see more from a number 10, the number 10 role is for someone to make things happen not a passenger role by any means but it is additional yes. We still need things to happen there.

Saw the headline that 'Di Maria can leave Man United if he is unhappy'. Probably briefly said and put as the headline obviously but still, I never expected things to go that badly for him, I didn't think he was worth the money, he's always been a very talented player mind but I don't think he is in the same class as Hazard, Pogba, Bale, Neymar and Suarez

Matic one was a penalty, he took the man first, I don't think the Costa was one at all, he went down far too late and it looked like he actually slipped over.

He was very good today, I'm one who is often critical of him but he completely ran the game.

Positives are no more Champions League, we just focus on the league now, that is priority. We need to start putting in better performances, that wasn't good enough, we came back 2nd half and I'm glad we showed some character, I thought it was all knocked out of us for a second. But this still isn't good enough, we will not win the league if we can't put in a good performance. Dropping points like this it's just too early to do it, if we bottle the league this early we have really shot ourselves in the foot. We still have big games to play, we can't slip up against sides like this, every top side has beat Southampton this season except us.

Very happy that we at least pulled out a performance, I didn't expect us to do that tbh, I thought the game was already set from the first half. Had a few chances to go on to win it, not sure how we didn't and I'll say I'm also very disappointed we haven't won this, we don't deserve the title if we can't go on to win it and let the pressure cave in, so poor from us.

Yeah if I'm being honest Bobby I'm going to end up apologising a lot later. Just absolutely fed up with this abysmal performance, I'm in a bit of a meltdown right now, I should probably stay off for my own sanity, just can't believe how badly we've came out, we just look 2nd best at everything. I also know we are going to come out 2nd half and play a lot worse. Can't see a win today.

I can't really name a Chelsea player who has been good to be fair. Matic doesn't look effecient as he usually does. Cesc will not stop losing the ball, Hazard can't seem to make an impact but again one of our best attackers. Costa has been dreadful besides the goal he has just lost the ball. Willian for me has been the worst player on the pitch as for Oscar just the same performance, nothing of merit, poor first touch, no impact in the game, nothing from him. The fullbacks aren't helping the game massively either, although to be fair besides struggling at the back Ivan looks the best when attacking. Azpi just isn't doing it.

Cuadrado surely has to come on? Willian has been dreadful 2nd to everything and not helping Ivanovic out well enough. I hope we get Cuadrado on as quickly as possible, I kind of wished we started with Felipe Luis also.

I've lost faith in our halftimes, we used to perform much better but the way it has went this season we will come out and play worse no doubt.

Felipe Luis should come on, Azpi's attacking rate is seriously letting us down.
