  1. What is your point though? I already know our side doesn't have much depth, Oscar is really our only CAM we have besides Willian and Fabregas but Wllian doesn't play there, he usually roams around and if you play Fabregas in that position then we have to play either Mikel or Ramires next to Matic. It's pretty clear we lack depth. Fabregas is a much better footballer than Oscar is, he can make more of an impact in that position, however he has only ever played in that position when we have set up defensively, he played there once when we went on the attack and I believe that was against Shalke at home, we didn't win the game but we created lots of chances, Didier was very wasteful on the night. I could be wrong though but I'm sure it was one of the CL home games if not that then Maribor.
  2. For me this has been the case for us for a while, we seem to start strong and end up having to scrape results at the end of the season. Unfortunately out title rivals appear to finish strong, so that's a bit of a worrying thought. Last season was our worst start we've ever had under Roman and funnily enough we had a good start, it just goes to show how good our starts have been really. This season and last we were playing really well up until about January and then it became a matter of grinding out results and playing 2nd best in a handful of games. We might be getting ahead of ourselves, we are still winning the league by some distance afterall and a game in hand, however no one can deny we have been sh*t for a while now, that's a concern.
  3. Pep Guardiola? No way, he is a very weak minded manager, also tactically naive, he only believes in one way of playing. We should never get rid of Jose, never, but if we did god forbid it never happens the only replacement I would want is Simeone. Guardiola hasn't got the temperament to deal with the Premier League, it's the most heated and competitive league in the world he would crack. I always trust in Jose, he got it wrong but 9/10 he knows what he's doing. Guardiola? I'm not so sure he would take off here, I admire the way his teams play football, I even admire how he has brought out the best in some of his players, however he had a mental breakdown at Barcelona took a year out and took the easiest job in the world, he's completely unproven in that regard.
  4. Not going to happen.
  5. I agree with what you said, but no way should Mourinho be sacked under any circumstances. He's the man for the job, I'll be very disappointed if we don't win the league because it will mean that we dropped a lot of points while being in a very good position. But the board are idiots if they sack him, I don't think they will, they've acted very well to FFP and sacrificed a lot to bring him back, why would they make such a drastic and stupid decision.
  6. Couldn't agree more ForeverCarfree, need a change quickly. Cuadrado is a breath of fresh air at least, something different, that's what we need something different. I pray to god Ramires is not in the starting line up, had enough of him slowing the play down.
  7. So no thought to the fans and the club what paid his wages? For every good game he put in he put in 2 bad ones, made plenty of costly mistakes, good champions league final but tell me a player who wasn't good that final? I guess we should build a shrine to Kalou and Bosingwa for that final CL performance. It was disrespectful what he did, there is no excusing it in my book, he's only human? I forgot a footballers life is very bleak and very short of joy.
  8. AU CONTRAIRE! As Del Boy used to say, they still paid 50 million for David Luiz and he even scored for them against us before they signed him.
  9. If we are willing to splash the insane cash, I would rather do it on Pogba. Bale is not going to go for less than 80 million, they might be stupid enough to sell him, but they aren't retarded.
  10. I can't believe how popular this thread has actually gotten, I hated the thread since it first ever opened, the childish whine in the topic name just makes it even worse
  11. I thought he was really good in the World Cup, he looked different, more energetic always looking to get the ball forward. How do you know this is Oscars peak? We don't know that, he does still have time on his side but he is still frustrating the hell out of me as a player at the same time.
  12. I wouldn't compare them, pointless, different players. Also Lampard has set the standard really high. Although Oscar is showing little flair and creativity in a lot of these games now, when I see him for Brazil he is a completely different player, it's strange to see why he is so blunt when playing for us.
  13. I think Blue Daze has a point, as much as it is unfair against us at times we are also playing the victim a lot. It's good to have two sides of an opinion rather than everyone at it.
  14. I don't think Costa will ever calm down, it's the player he is, it's what makes him a goal scoring threat. He might never calm down but I don't think he will never stop scoring either, he's a very consistent striker, it's in his mentality, his rough patches don't last for long, I'm confident he will get back to scoring ways. However sooner better than later, we have a league title to win.
  15. You could also say the same of the people moaning in the match day thread about those who are moaning.
  16. He got booed for elbowing Costa. And I also couldn't care less about his apology, he can shove it, perhaps you might not care when a player doesn't celebrate or does when playing a former club. I however see it as a respectable thing to do regardless of the game. Fans always pay good money to see these players, plenty of faith and money put into David Luiz, many supporters backed him, of course I'm not happy with his actions. For me he comes across as a tosser and I'll have no issue with him getting booed whenever he comes up against us again, some fans are hurt some fans don't care.
  17. To be fair it was a typical Willian performance, that's the thing, he didn't necessarily play bad, he just did what Willian usually does, didn't really give the ball away but again did absolutely nothing to get the game going made it just about as slow as it already was. I think that's why we need a bigger squad, more flair, Cuadrado is taking more time than we first expected, I don't have an issue with that, I just hope we get what we paid for with him. But I think maybe we can look into the summer for more flair? It is just one game but we have to also remember that some of our performances in 2015 have been very stale.
  18. Fabregas was good yesterday, people who say he wasn't weren't very observant really. He did what he should do, get our best players on the ball, a centre mid shouldn't be relied on to make clear cut chances when we have three attackers behind the striker. Fabregas was getting plenty of attacks going. The likes of Ramires and Oscar were inefficient and Willian when he came on. Hazard was also poor by his standards but even then he is that good he was still our best attacker, that is what's worrying. It goes to show the difference of class, he is a tremendous player but we shouldn't have to rely on him all the time. Oscar yet again had little impact, and I can see this being an occurring thing from now and until the end of the season just like last.
  19. How can people say all this about I don't blame him for celebrating? The amount of faith our fans put in David Luiz when he was constantly hounded by pundits and the media for being a liability, the amount of sh*te performances he put in for us also and many of us stuck our necks out for him and said he would be one of our best centre backs in a few years. His antics were disrespectful against us, celebrating was the icing on the cake really. Even Daniel Sturridge refused to celebrate against us for christ sakes and some would say he had plenty of reasons to and some even call Daniel a c**t, well what does that make David Luiz?
  20. That lawro is a prick, he's already used that stupid line and cliche before. Can anybody remember when Oscar fell over and it was hardly a dive or anything really cynical, it was one of the first games he played in for Chelsea and Lawrensen had to use the quote that 'well he deserved an Oscar for this' just an absolute unfunny prick.
  21. Good post. Sadly Oscar is proving me right, he is simply not doing enough for the side, we need him at these crucial moments and he is still yet to put in a good performance since the Swansea game in early January. That's just not good enough, he did the same last season when we desperately needed him. He doesn't have as much impact as he should have. Going to sleep last night was really hard honestly, I just felt really bad about the game, shocked more than anything, didn't expect that from us. It's hard to get over a performance what is that embarrassing really.
  22. That suspension is enough of a rest for me, he's just not been good enough in front of goal. Granted the team around him today and the play in general was pretty abysmal, as was his play. But the games like Burnley and West Ham I have no idea how he didn't score.
  23. That's the thing with Costa, if he doesn't score goals he wont really give much else, his hold up play and general play besides scoring is rubbish. He's not a Drogba in that regard, he also messes up a lot of counter attacks. He's not a fool though, he knows he needs a goal and I'll never fault his commitment, I'm confident that he can get himself back to scoring ways.
  24. I hope he gets boo'd whenever he comes up against us again, absolute dick head.
  25. The defending on corners, what on earth is going on. Hated every moment of it.
