Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2017/2018
Palace 5-0 up against Leicester. Up to 11th and 6 clear of the drop as it stands. Have to give credit to Hodgson for the job he's done. West Brom winning again keeps them up for now. 2 points from Swansea in their 4 games relegates them. Should have given Pardiola the boot sooner (or not hired him in the first place).

Because we didn't take our chances when they came and we let them escape the 1st leg with a draw. Pretty much the same sh*te as most of our recent games.

BT commentators are f**king atrocious, just seen another replay and they still haven't copped onto the fact that it came off Milner and therefore couldn't be offside.

I think we can agree there are many worthy candidates, and all very much deserving of a good punch or 12

It was good save, but he made it look more spectacular than it needed to be by using his right hand instead of his left

Another example today of just how bad referees are in this league

Seriously impressive from Liverpool (pains me to praise them) City were abysmal, created nothing all game.

I wouldn't be so quick to declare this over. If City can get themselves together and get back on the front foot possession-wise, they are capable of getting a few goals, plus this Liverpool defence is capable of being every bit as sh*t as City's has been. Add in a dodgy keeper and there is still a chance for City. 1 City goal keeps it alive.

Barcelona V Chelsea (CL) Wed 14th Mar 19:45 UK
Can't complain too much about the outcome, scoreline flatters them a little, but at least we gave it a go. Major difference between the sides is when the chances fell to Barca there was no faffing about, they (well Messi mainly) was quick and decisive and just pulled the f**king trigger. Too many times we dicked about, took too many touches and just lacked the quality to take advantage of the situations we were in. Tonight highlighted again the areas we need improvement the most. Middle of the park beside Kante (Fabregas is done and nothing else we have is good enough), right WB (if we are to persist with the current formation) and, mainly, a striker. Giroud tries, no doubting his attitude (which has surpirsed me to be honest) but lacks the quality at this level, and Morata is not worth wasting time complaining about anymore.

I agree. Though I suspect this referee would give it at the other end.

So f**king frustrating. This is probably the best performance (on the ball at least) we've ever had at the Nou Camp, and 2 moments of stupidity and we're losing 2-0. An early goal in the second half could make things very interesting. Sigh...it's the hope that kills you really.

Pique's arm was as high and as in Giroud's face as Giroud's was in his.

Kante was right to take it on, Cesc looked offside and should have backed off.

Pity about the start, but the response has been very good. Alonso could have some joy down the left. Moses' end product is poor.
