Has chelsea grown into a "big" club
At £70 a ticket for the West Upper (last season's price), what real fans could afford it? But thats a whole different thread!

How good does Sheva look on this Chelsea vid ha
Agree 100%. I also felt sorry for Sheva. When Roman bought him and Ballack, Sheva was treated like the red headed stepchild from day one. He could have been a Chelsea legend. Thanks Sheva. 77777777777777777777777777777777777777777777777777777777

Is the Lampard era coming to an end?
Both Lamps and JT were poor againsed the Swiss at 'Wemberley' yesterday. Blame some of it on a long hard season. But they both need a vacation. Then a good pre-season.

Ossie's Testimonial
Anyone go to Ossie's testimonial? We went, and stood in The Shed. It was half empty that night. Sad considering Ossie was probably the best/most popular player pre Zola. A very 'out of form' George Best played. It was the only time I really took a hammering at football. By Chelsea supporters! I was with a small Whitton mob, and a much larger, and much harder Hounslow mob chased us all over the terraces, and then half way down the North End Road! Then we had to get home. I ended up on the night bus at Hounslow bus station, and walked home to Whitton, half expecting to be jumped by the Hounslow mob! Bad night for the Whitton mob! (Mob used jokingly)

Short story v11
I used to have a Bowie haircat back in 74ish. Looked a right 'Erbert I'm sure! My dad, ex WW2 veteran, would look at me and laugh! But he'd still take me to football on Saturdays!

Full Member cup final 86
The only time I ever saw Chelsea at Wembley. My dad got seats down the side. Great day. Re the kit. I have a replica of the white shirt which I still wear to the pub. Kinda confuses the American Chelsea fans. Full Members Cup? My son laughs at the short shorts, the same way we used to laugh at the Stanley Matthews long shorts! Great memories. Thanks for the clip.

Hello from Sunny Florida
Greetings from an old Chelsea fan now living in Florida. I used to go with my dad in the early 1970s and sit on the concrete benches in the old west stand. Later when I was older, and a little braver, I'd go with my mates to The Shed. Many Saturday evenings I'd come home with bruses over my back from the knees ups! Now I try to catch one game a year. Sh1t, at 70 pounds one game is all I can afford! My proudest moment was 2010 Chelsea v West Ham. I took my 9 year old to his first Chelsea game. I still follow Chelsea at The Cricketers Arms pub here in Orlando where we old Chelsea farts meet to watch the games live on the Fox Soccer Channel. KTBFFH
