  1. He was practically a Chelsea player a season or two ago, why have we dropped our interest in him almost completely?
  2. I think our best combination would be Cole - Terry - Alex - Ivanovic. Some good attacking power on the wings without sacrificing any defensive solidity, and Terry gets forward when we need the extra pressure. Bring Luiz on as a sub for either Alex or Ivanovic and allow him to learn the game at his own pace, instead of throwing him into the deep-end like we did last season. He played great in many games but a couple of mistakes here and there can shatter his confidence.
  3. I used to have AVG. It wasn't so much that it would put a heavy strain on resources, it was bad because it was too intrusive. It would interfere with some of my games to the point that they would be unplayable. Also a pain to shut down so I could play for a while (don't need virus protection when playing a game anyway). Anyways, if you're on TBird, you might want to think twice about MSE then. There are reports it will slow down TBird when a virus is detected - can't post the link to the Google results for "mse and thunderbird" so you'll have to do it yourself. However, most of those articles are at least a year old, and the product is constantly updated (at least once a month), so things could be different. Since you are using Thunderbird, it will be able to detect viruses. I believe Thunderbird will download the emails onto your computer to a specific directory, just make sure MSE is analyzing that directory and you should be fine. I personally just use a browser for my email and GMail handles almost everything on its own.
  4. Don't think so, although the protection would kick in once you open a malicious email. What application are you using to view your emails?
  5. I'd have to say it's Tevez coming here. Hands down. If he doesn't like Manchester, what's ~300 km going to change? Mental to think he'll stay in England.
  6. Don't see him being sold just yet, I don't think he's even had a chance to show all that he's capable of yet. Wouldn't mind seeing him play more as a right-back though, maybe his defensive liability won't be so pronounced out there.
  7. Highly recommend MSE. Built-in with Win 7 I believe, works very well and is extremely lightweight and unintrusive.
  8. He's missed tons of sitters last season. I think if he goes on another goal drought, he'll be done in England. The only thing holding him back is himself, he needs to get over the psychological problems before he can become a top player again.
  9. I don't think anything major is cooking right now. We'll probably have to wait a couple of weeks at the earliest until AVB decides on who needs to come and who needs to go.
