Agree with most mentioned, particularly Craig Burley, but need to give a mention to Celestine Babayaro. I don't care how cool his name is, he was a right w**ker in his unveiling press conference for Newcastle. Scott Parker also deserves a mention for being a dick. Have nothing against Gallas, because he just seems to be a dopey moron. Not his fault that he only has a couple of brain cells. Pity Wayne Bridge rather than hate him, made himself more of a victim than he actually was, JT's missus was the real victim.

Still don't understand this transfer. He's fast and can go past players, but whats the point if you can't find a pass or score afterwards. He's only 1 year younger than Sturridge and not as talented. Decent squad player I guess, possibly part of plan to get Sturridge to play as a ST instead of RW? Certainly would't want him to be starting unless we have injuries.

Haha non-taken. When it comes to defending for a right back, you're right, Branna is as good as they come, if not the best. However, he's not overly useful on the attack (forget my avatar ). He will occasionally put in a good cross or get into a good position, like on Sunday, but more often than not his crosses don't beat the 1st man or sail over the crossbar. Like The Moos said, Azpilicueta would give us a much more attacking option. I think it depends on who we are playing and how far forward RdM wants the fullbacks to play. At the end of the day, I don't care who plays out of the two of them... Just knowing that Bosingwa won't be playing there for us again is good enough for me

Now that Didier has gone and as JT always gets wrestled to the ground when we have a corner, Branna is pretty much our only threat from them now. However, In my first XI I would have Azpili, Cahill, Terry, Cole.... some tough decisions coming up for RdM (which is by no means a bad thing!).

To be fair, he was playing DM, CM and AM throughout the game tonight. Didn't stop running all night, and regardless of his best position, he would still do a better job at DM than anyone we have at the moment.

It's very hard not to like Everton, apart from when they're playing Chelsea obviously. Likeable team, likeable manager. If Fellaini cost them £15million, I can't see anyone signing him for a sensible price any time soon...

Would also help fill the void left by Didi when it comes to defending corners. An all round quality player, doubt we will get him but would be furious if one of rivals did, mainly Spuds.

Can somebody explain why we are are better off with Mikel than Fellaini? I genuinely can't think of a single reason, other than discipline maybe, but he's improved on that too. What the hell is going on with Belgian football?!?!?

He's been excellent against united so far, wish we would go for him. Puts himself about far more than Mikel does and is also an attacking threat. Very impressed yet again and can see why so many are tipping him to have a great season...

Loved it at first but couldn't complete the last series because it became far too cheesy. Plus the story got a bit crappy. 1st season was brilliant though.
