John Terry Retires from International Football
He finished his last game for England limping around because they had no subs left. As if anyone need more proof of his unrivalled commitment. 'One England Captain' is going to be electric on Tuesday night, even if it is just a cup game.

John Terry UEFA club defender of the year in 2005, 2008 and 2009 PFA Player's player of the year in 2005 Included in the FIFPro world XI for four consecutive seasons, from 2005 to 2008 Named in the all-star squad for the 2006 FIFA world cup Can see why the FA has done this witch-hunt now... he's obviously a sh*t player.- Ramires
Wow, great effort. That's put him in his place!- Luiz signs new 5yr deal
Looking cool and collected as he signs..... http://pics.lockerz.com/s/246774543- Luiz signs new 5yr deal
Official confirmation : http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/2926846/title/new-deal-for-david-luiz Great news, will get better and better.- Chelsea v Stoke (PL) 22/09/12 KO 15:00 BST
Terry AND Lampard start on the bench! Cech © Iva,luiz, cahill, cole mikel, rami hazard, oscar, mata torres- Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
I wonder if it would be worth dropping him, so he knows he has to fight for his place? Then again, we haven't exactly got much backup, and the way it's going that would send his confidence back down to the floor. To be honest, I don't care how well he plays, if he somehow ends up with 20+ goals at the end of the season, that will be good enough for me!- Ramires
His chip will always be one of the most important goals in our history, and it wasn't a bad one either. His goal against Man City a couple of years ago was world class too. Great player, his pace on the counter attack is invaluable. Nice and underrated- John Obi Mikel Appreciation Thread
No. Mikel doesn't owe us anything.- Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
A lot of the stick he gets on here is harsh, but he does not "work his balls off every game". He will not put that much effort in for a lot of the game then will chase a lost cause, then everyone raves about his 'exceptional work rate'. Also getting annoyed with the constant dropping to the floor and waving his arms, but in his defence, some of the service is woeful. If someone can explain why David Luiz thinks hoofing it up to him at head height is a good idea, especially against Juve, a team with 3 massive centre backs....? It's not entirely his fault, but it's up to him to sort it out this season. He STILL hasn't won us a game or scored a CRUCIAL goal.- John Obi Mikel Appreciation Thread
Just been looking through them, most are telling him how he's a complete disgrace. And without wanting to start a race row or something like that, the vast majority of names abusing him are not ummm British?- John Obi Mikel Appreciation Thread
Here's an example of what he's had to put up with... Terry Lineker â€@TLineker @mikel12official U handed that transfer request in yet #sh*tc**t#lazybollox What a w**ker.- John Obi Mikel Appreciation Thread
I will openly admit that now and again I have a good old moan about Mikel, but to abuse him on Twitter to the point that he closes his account is just disgusting. Goes to show that some of our fans are complete scum as well. Absolutely incredible that these people call themselves 'fans'. Should be ashamed of themselves. c**ts.- MOTM vs Juve (Home)
Voted Oscar because of the way he tucked away those tap-ins. Class.- Chelsea v Juventus (CL) 19/09/12 KO 19:45 BST
This thread is definitely edging towards RAWK territory. Calm the f**k down.- Chelsea v Juventus (CL) 19/09/12 KO 19:45 BST
Mikel wasnt great, but he wasn't terrible. Some on here are after his head whereas others are militant Mikel backers. Not as bad as people want to think, but by no means irreplaceable.- Chelsea v Juventus (CL) 19/09/12 KO 19:45 BST
Cech 6 Branna 5 JT 5 Luiz 6 Cole 7 Lampard 5 Mikel 5 Hazard 6 Oscar 9 Rambo 6 Torres 5 , Berty 5 Mata 6 Edit: Actually that may be harsh on some. Oh well.- Chelsea v Juventus (CL) 19/09/12 KO 19:45 BST
It doesn't matter who we were playing, throwing away a 2-0 lead at home is criminal. Mikel and Lampard sloppy. Branna pretty poor tonight as well.- Chelsea v Juventus (CL) 19/09/12 KO 19:45 BST
It's not the fact that Mikel gave the ball away, it's the fact that after he had done so, he just stood there with his arms in the air instead of busting a gut to win it back. So lackadaisical sometimes.- Chelsea v Juventus (CL) 19/09/12 KO 19:45 BST
John Obi Mikel ladies and gents.... what the f**k are you doing?!- Chelsea v Juventus (CL) 19/09/12 KO 19:45 BST

Oooh Branna- Chelsea v Juventus (CL) 19/09/12 KO 19:45 BST
He would be hailing it the best goal of all time if Stevie G or Suarez scored it. - John Terry Retires from International Football
