Whewwww! Top of the league! Excellent performance from the lads. We beat Barcelona today and we only showed up in the second half. Eden Hazard was incredible and Schurrle did something we have rarely seen this season. Schurrle made good direct runs and got into attacking positions all throughout the second half. That is what you want our attacking players to do after all. Fantastic by Andre to take his chance and prove his worth. I hit the roof when he put the third in. On the same note, much could be said about the industry of Hazard today but he has been brilliant all year. Arsenal gave us a little room today at the top so all in all a very good day for us even if we had one of the worst first 45 I have ever seen. KTBFFH!

We have a few players out there who seem to raise their game for tournament play. Oscar would be the example of someone finds forum in these type of matches. I feel like Hazard and Willian need a rest. Why not allow Schurrle and Salah a chance to make an impact? I always want us to win silverware and much of it but the league has to be priority number 1. I hate to say that if we win I'll be over the blue moon but if we lost this and won the league I'd be happy. With Mou back and the team strengthening key positions, you cannot help but feel the good times are nearly back. We are actually doing much better than I had expected us to even with the return of our king. I'd have only expected to finish top 4 and challenge next year so anything more than that is a bonus. I don't think Mou is completely fibbing when he says top 4 was his expectation. Either way, 2-1 to the Chels! KTBFFH.

We didn't play great and that is obvious but even with that said we made a couple of subs and all the sudden their midfield looked like Spain and we looked like San Marino. We were still in full control of the match and had chances to counter. You don't beg a team who are already well up for it to come onto you for 15 minutes. I don't understand, why not just play football for 90 minutes? We had possession and the run of play. So make substitutions and allow them to play with the ball for 10 minutes. Negative football has cost us in the end. Now we are 1-1 and now how well do we look going forward. Mou got it bang wrong in my opinion.
