What a wonderful result! I cleared my coffee table by about 5 feet when Torres put that one in. It was so justified for him to score that, he had played so well and I thought his efforts were going to go unrewarded. Torres looks physically stronger than he has in seasons past and now looks like he has found his spirit again. He was a constant threat out there today and also produced a lovely goal for Schurrle. His confidence seems through the roof and stamford bridge chanting his name after the whistle must have made him feel like a king. Well done Torres you beauty. Iva lost himself today and thought he was Messi, so many unsuspected little tricks & turns from him, thought he played brilliantly. Ramires is doing exactly what we need him to and his form lately has been an incredible influence in the centre of midfield for us. Hazard again is not consistent enough for my liking and that is why I do not rate him so much. Until that boy puts in a solid run of top class performances I'll be convinced that he is an elite player like people bang on about. Schurrle deserved a goal because I feel he has been playing very well and his confidence will also be sky high. Oscar had a quiet night but that's fine because he has been our best player all season. Sometimes players will go quiet in a match and that allows others to step up. It may also have to do with the way city set up. What I'm trying to say is that certain games are better suited for certain players to have a big impact. Cech got caught sleeping a bit but that's fine because he is still to my mind the best keeper in the world and almost never puts a foot wrong. A massive win for us, I'm sure the whole dressing room are on a high. One of those big results that can bring a team closer together and inspire a season. The stars are starting to line up for us and now that Chelsea are firing I cannot see anything stopping us. I have no idea what is going on with Mata but I hope we find out soon. I really miss him as a player. In Mourinho I trust. KTBFFH!

So happy with todays result! I cannot believe some are playing it down a little. That is the best we have looked in a long time. We were solid at back and countered them ruthlessly. This was an away game vs a very tidy outfit and we won with ease. What a match by Torres, he is certainly looking like a man on fire. Hazard stepped up today and showed his quality which I don't feel he does enough for a player of his calibre. Oscar has been are best player all year and was a beast today, his assist :) Rambo was also back to his old-self making deep runs and being a menace through the centre of mid. Cahill&Terry policed it all and I think this is Cahill's year in terms of defending. Playing great for club&country. The whole team played well and I'm very happy! Our European Pedigree always seems to shine through! KTBFFH!!

I have never felt more confused about a 4-1 result and 3 points. The problem again for me was that we just looked so dead until Eto'o did that cheeky little move which resulted in a goal for Eden Hazard-when-he-shows-up. We just don't create enough chances for a team with this much talent through the midfield. We seem to lower our game for the easier sides and only show our best vs the elite. I'm happy we won but in no way was this a great performance. Lampard is my favourite player of all time but he is getting on in age and we have to look at other options. Is there any doubt that Cahill is a better CB than Luiz still? We are winning again and that is a start.

What's going on here with all the bickering? Strange. We could sit here and analyze every single aspect of everything that everyone had done in 90 minutes, but what's the point? Vertonghen was a complete nob and should have gone off well before Torres. Likewise Torres was also lucky to have not gone off earlier. Despite Nando going off I thought he was the best player on the pitch and looked like a new man! If he keeps that up he will force himself upon the starting 11. Hopefully now Jose sees that Mata is our best player. I think Jose got the lads worked up and that's what he wanted to see, a spirited Chelsea. The best part of it all is that when mata came on and we started to do the Chelsea, they couldn't cope with it. They were sh*tting themselves up until Nando went off. No doubt in my mind that we would have took 3 points with 11 men. Lets not act Like we are in a massive crisis. You do realize both Manchester sides lost today!? :) Ktbffh!

If Mata goes... I just don't know how I am going to react. It will definitely go down as one of my top 3 disappointing moments in my Chelsea life. Absolute travesty if he is not with us, our best player and already a legend in my eyes. I tend to believe it's true about Mourinho resting him and making sure that he is 100% match fit so we can get the best out of the premier leagues best player. WIACW!

Cahill. Cech was a close second. Ramires may edge it.

Ramires lost the game for us kill him with fire! On a serious note, we did very well against the best club in the world, less a man. Since when were Chelsea supporters so quiet? It isn't like the Germans had far to travel either.

Sad that a lot of pundits and Bayern fans alike will say this is the great revenge for the Champions League defeat. Sorry this super cup which is nice to add to the trophy cabinet is definitely not a fraction as important as the trophy with the big ears. Rambo was foolish to go in like that after he won the ball easily and in the end resulted in us going 1 man down. We were creating more chances than they were before he was sent off and we also took the lead through Hazard so there is a lot to take from this match. Bayern barely defeated a 10 man Chelsea and couldn't do so in open play. The Diving from Bayern was pathetic. I am now confident 11 vs 11 we are right back up there with the best. KTBFFH!

Well here we go again, extra time vs Zee Germans. We can sit here and focus on things in which we cannot reverse or we can get stuck in! 10 Chelsea men vs 11 anyone, I'm confident! C'mon CHELSEA!!

Ramires was unlucky there but at the same time is an idiot because he knew with a Yellow he had to be a little more careful with his actions. The United match and now this, not pleased with you Ramires. We were starting to look so good. We're up sh*ts creek without a paddle now.

Well that certainly sends a message to Torres and Lukaku. I still have hopes that Lukaku gets a shot up front but it seems Mourinho has other plans and in Mourinho I trust. Eto'o may be up there in age but from what I am reading we got him at a bargain price. He is the type of striker that will fit in well with our system. Fast & instinctive, top quality striker.

Well Mourinho sent his message to Rooney by not starting a single striker. Hopefully it got through to shrek who did look good tonight. I also thought Schurrle was decent but also looked a lot better when he was shifted to the wing, a more natural position for him. Oscar was good as well and looked like one of the few who wanted it tonight. Oscar was also the most fouled man on the pitch, I really felt for him and it's a good thing he kept his cool. I am not pleased with everything that went on tonight but we took a point away from OT without a striker lol. KTBFFH.

My feelings exactly.

Positives to take from that match was that we looked very solid defending and after all we did take away a point from OT with relative ease.

I say I am worried because we have to stop talking the talking and start walking the walking. That was the most comfortable we have ever had it at OT because that United squad really isn't that great. Our teams of recent years would have smashed that version of United. I say I am worried because with all that skill we have seemed a bit flat in our first 3 matches.

Worst Chelsea vs United match I've ever seen. We looked solid at back but did absolutely nothing going forward. The quality displayed by our midfield was pathetic. Ramires was taking the piss I'm certain. We can all sit here and say good job because we got a point from OT but displays like that are not what win you championships. That United team offered very little and Chelsea squads of recent years gone by would have raped that team. Worrying days ahead. KTBFFH.

So where are these so-called dangerous attacking midfielders? Are we still waiting? do they need more time to gel? I see nothing but averageness.
