30 minutes of nothing followed by 15 minutes of confusion in the final third. Not at all a good first half for us. Hazard is really getting on my nerves, trying to be too fancy and not using his speed and low centre of gravity to burn past the first defender, also not running into space with the ball. Never will be a massive fan of the fact that Rafa is now leading our ship but some of those signs were silly. At the end of the day you have to give Rafa is chance because you have no choice, so if we start to win and things look better for us, how long will we hold up signs insulting the man? 0-0 not a bad result for a team that has been having some rough days as of late. This match vs citeh is certainly going to be exciting and scary at the same time. Lord knows how Rafa will shuffle the Chelsea line up and how he will apply his tactics. We got hammered by Juventus but there was also a bit of luck in it for them with the 2 deflections. I am not saying that we weren't well beat but we could have come out a lot better vs Juventus. Let's get Marin in on this one and freshen things up a little because he will certainly be raring to go and could add the spark that we are missing. Beckham has always been quality, no one produces more industry than that man. There was a time when almost every single goal for England came through Becks, it was insane. I could see him going to Italy because they do love aged players over there. I could definitely see Beckham in an AC Milan shirt and Italy would be the fashionable choice for a fashionable guy lol. That hurt really bad. We got taken apart by a very tidy Juventus side. These are going to be dire days for us Chelsea supporters because we are in a serious state of transition. It is clear to me the transition will not be quite as smooth as I thought it would be. We have Hazard/Oscar/Mata and none of them seem to be clicking at the moment. Looks like 3 individuals out on the pitch. We all know we lack a world class striker and that is a huge factor but not the only one. We need a class CB and CDM to solid things up for us while we encourage our attacking style football. John Terry is obviously dearly missed as is Lampard. Both of those players could have added a backbone to a young highly talented squad. All we can do is keep faith and hang on for the bumpy ride, a smooth road lay ahead. PS. I really like Torres and I know he really does want to produce for Chelsea but he often comes up short. I agree, I will support Torres every single time he is out on the pitch but I really don't think he will be sticking around very long. We sign a big striker in January and you can pretty much kiss Torres goodbye. Could you imagine the goals a Luis Suarez would score at Chelsea being fed by the likes of "Mazacar"?

We are in need of a ruthless striker. Peter Osgood you are dearly missed in times like these. At the end of the day it wasn't the result we wanted but it is early days and we are still in the title race and now in good position to qualify out of the group stage in the CL. Falcao was recently quoted as saying "All this talk of Real Madrid and Barcelona but the champions of europe are in England". No disputing that Gerrard has been an incredible player and was the man for England in the Euro. He is just getting a bit past it now. I don't even really have too much dislike for Liverpool even when we had a fierce rivalry going on. I hate Manchester United, Arsenal, and Tottenham. I am simply pointing out the fact that you haven't been world beaters for some time and you are looking in no shape to win any silverware anytime soon. You scousers could do yourself a favour and stop bringing up your history as validation for your present situation. No amount of league titles, european cups, champions league cups is going to help you RIGHT now. Your sh*t and you know you are haha. Stevie G is moving on up in terms of age and if a fit Lampard isn't a sure starter for us than Gerrard sure as hell wouldn't be. Once again I was stuck on Military duty while Chelsea play in another crucial match, relying on texts updates from my mates. It is the kind of thing that can make you pull your teeth out. Saw the highlights and will now look for the replay. What a superb strike by Oscar our little genius and what a clutch winner by Moses! I said before this match that I knew we would come good because there is no club in the world that has the spirit we have. I have been critical with Torres saying that he should either sh*t or get off the pot but he seems to want to stay on and it doesn't matter how he scored, he scored. I can assure you the big clubs are all shaking in their boots again because Chelsea are at their most deadly when we just slip through. "Not again", "Why won't they just die!?" is what is being cried by rival managers and supporters alike. Danny Sturridge is a lad who has in past been in some fine form and rewarded not. He makes his mistakes but usually is a live wire and will score goals. I think he is a case of a lad who needs people to have a little confidence in him for a change. You might mess up as well when your trying your hardest to be in the first team. Torres on the other hand. I feel we as supporters have done a damn fine job giving this guy chance after chance. My time for Torres has run out, and I am praying for a top class striker come january.

I do agree that in the foward department we are not looking our strongest. In my opinion Torres is not the striker we need to bring home more silver. We need a striker who can create goals from any situation. RVP,Falcao,Ibra, Džeko. I hope we get something done when the market opens up. I don't feel it's quite so bad as your making it out to be though. We have got results against United,Arsenal,Tottenham. We very well could have gone on to win the match against Juventus and even vs Shakhtar we had some clear goal chances that could have ruined their impressive performance. We are a different beast at home and I think we can get the result. Why not start Danny?
