Manchester United v Chelsea (PL) 26/08/13 KO 19:45 BST
Well it wasn't all bad. If that is the best United have than I'm not too worried but I will start to worry if we keep giving away possession. Ramires has been absolutely horrible for us so far or am I the only one seeing it?

So that's 4 failed long passes by Ramires.

I think I'm going to be sick. The atmosphere at OT is electric.

Mata isn't match fit so therefore does not start. Schurrle false 9? This could get exciting!

Willian
One player will not keep 3 on the bench. Mourinho believes in his players and I'm sure all will have an honest go. With as much depth as we have in midfield, I wouldn't be surprised if we see players rotating in and out.

Willian
Amazing signing come on people! Willian is exactly the type of versatile midfielder we need and brings so much power and pace. It's like we forgot how much of nightmare he was when we come up against him in the CL. He is an already established player so it will be up to others to take his position away from him. KDB,Van Ginkel, Schurrle are all great players but have much to prove. Remember when Essien used to run around and bully the midfield? I see Willian being able to do much the same. There is no way that Mata is going any where so lets just stop that right now. We have some huge depth in mid at the moment and that can only help our title chances. Not interested in a 32 years old Eto'o.

Manchester United v Chelsea (PL) 26/08/13 KO 19:45 BST
My only worry about facing United is dodgy referring. In the last two years we have gotten the better of them and magically 2 penalties are given and United are right back in it. There isn't anyone in the world that can convince me of that being a giant coincidence. United one day will be exposed as a very corrupt club. I have never questioned our ability vs them. United seem to have some odd chemistry about them because they have looked the best side so far and that is with an extremely average midfield. They are heavy up top with Van Persie probably being the best striker in the premier league so they do pose a threat always. I feel we always raise our game when we come up against them so despite looking so-so in both of our wins, I think we will come out strong against them. The problem last season is that we did raise our game vs the bigger clubs but seemed to drop our standard vs average and lower sides which makes for great wins over rivals but makes our title chances look slim to none. Confident Mourinho will sort this out anyway. Chelsea 2-1! There isn't a club I hate more than United, scum of the earth. KTBFFH!!

Why did we get rid of Sturridge?
Agreed. Their home kit is classy as well but that third kit... no excuses for that.

Why did we get rid of Sturridge?
I was just thinking the same thing while watching Liverpool vs Villa. That run, movement, and the finish were top notch. Only a raw goal scorer would finish like that, quickly thought out toe punt. The best striker we had at Chelsea and as someone has already said, better than Lukaku as well. I love this club with all my heart but like a family member you may love, it doesn't mean you are always proud of everything they do. Chelsea's handling of English talent is appalling. We will force McEachran away as well, a player who was looking so promising under Ancelotti. With all that said most English clubs policy with English players is a let down so we are not unique. KTBFFH!

Chelsea v Aston Villa (PL) 21/08/13 KO 19:45 BST
Well that is a great way to blow a lead. Once again as was the case so often last season, we look like the best club in the world for 15 minutes then everyone goes missing. They had better pick up the play in the second half or this one is heading to a draw. Let's get the young lad Lukaku on!

Chelsea v Hull City (PL) 18/08/13 KO 16:00 BST
I am a huge Brana fan so I hope no one took that the wrong way. Anyone is capable of having a poor match on any given night. Another positive is that we looked sharp and that was minus Mata who is pretty much the best midfielder in the premier league.

2 Nil isn't a bad way to start off the season if you ask me. We looked the business in the first half, beautiful link up play from our front line. I really like the look of Oscar lately, he was always a very talented young man but I think he is coming of age and this could be his year. I thought KDB played excellently and displayed a lot of his worth. What a goal by Lampard and what a reply that was. Wish I knew the conversation between him and Oscar because Franky had the grin on. I suppose the only thing I didn't like is how we sort of faded a bit in the second half but nothing too troubling. I really thought Iva has a poor match. He just seemed to lose the ball a lot and apart from the one run didn't do very well linking up.

why all the Chelsea haters because we got beat by Madrid?
I love how calm Mourinho was about the loss. He took it for what it was, a learning experience. I wonder if in Madrid they will be having a victory parae for the most prestigious cup win ever. Suppose it won't matter now when they crash out of the Champions League.

VG is Very Good
How goes it my people!? Ginko is looking good so far! I feel he has a lot to offer as it has already been stated, he's got a bit of Stevie G about him and that cannot be a bad thing. Just watched his first interview where he is asked how he is liking cobham, the hilarity follows. In a heavy dutch accent "ehh it's very big... it's have a lot of nice BITCHES". Clearly he meant pitches or did he? We seem to be using different methods warming our young lads up haha. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twgzH2er47w

Who's the perfect central mid/ dm for Chelsea?
I have also just read a fresh article about us in advanced talks with De Rossi. I really hope we get this man, he is a rock and has the technically ability to offer a solid attack when need be. He is at the right age, we have some youngins that could learn under his wing.

José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
Yeah I couldn't pass that gem by without sharing! I sat here alone and literally PMSL. Glad you all had solid chuckle. On a serious note it is quite sad that grown men are reduced to that level of resentfulness. Grown men actively lying and knowing that they are lying but all finding comfort in each others BS. He hasn't been back 24 hours and our rivals are already in a panic, classic. KTBFFH!

José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
It's going to have to come down to Chelsea vs City for the league because United are going to be lost without their main man. They still have a decent side on paper but it takes much more than that, and who the f*ck wants to play for David Moyes? Mourinho talks the talk and walks the walk, end of.

The Frank Lampard goal scoring record thread
I knew he would get the record and it couldn't belong to a more worthy player. My favourite Chelsea player of all time and my absolute idol. Now that he has signed on for another year and Mourinho is back perhaps he can chase the premier league scoring record? Dare I dream???

José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
Woke up this morning to the greatest news ever! The king has returned and it's a blue day!!!!!!! The media is naturally going bonkers with this and reading some of the comments from United,City,Arsenal,Tottenham supporters you can tell they are all sh*tting themselves. I'd imagine the payers are just as excited to play under Mour, he is the spiritual leader of this club and we have missed him dearly since. It will be interesting to see who wants to follow JM to the Bridge, still need a DM and a ST. De Rossi and Cavani would do just fine though Cavani is probably not going to happen. Robert Lewandowski?

Reading v Chelsea (PL) 30/1/13 KO 20:00 GMT
Jeebus Chris. I believe I did mention earlier that I had hoped I never ever... EVER see Bertrand on the wing again. FSW you are a complete d**khead, secret scouse agent of Chelsea demise. Ryan is a talented lad but he is NOT a forward player. Ross Turnbull over Cech? This is getting F*cking silly really fast.

Reading v Chelsea (PL) 30/1/13 KO 20:00 GMT
I thought 4-4-2 was a dinosaur and had no place left in the modern game??? I really don't have an opinion on who starts or who doesn't. The overall spirit and quality of football from the lads is my main concern(it has been lacking). I wouldn't have thought that switching to 4-4-2 was an option but what really can we lose from giving it a go? I just hope I don't see Ryan Bertrand on the wing ever, ever again. Under normal circumstances we should win this match, this season has been anything but normal to our standard. Someone put it best when he said that he wouldn't be surprised if we "snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory". Seriously though. Not all doom & gloom though, we can close ground on City with a solid win. KTBFFH!
