I'm not upset with Juan at all. I moved on from being upset about this entire saga right from the get-go. The writing has been on the wall for months now. I will be extremely annoyed however if whenever we play United our fans begin giving Juan sh*t for joining them. He has been a loyal servant to the club, has helped us win trophies and has helped us reach higher heights. The fates haven't been in his favor this season though and it's best to move on. If anything I'd be even more stoked if he actually turns United's season around, taking 4th place away from Liverpool. It'd be a nice gesture from Manchester United if they give Juan the 'legendary' #7 shirt, the number previously owned by the likes of Cantona, Beckham, and Ronaldo. I'll write a proper analysis of the transfer once it's been made 'official'.

Just to reference something I wrote a while back. Knew it was going to happen for a while now (but admittedly I didn't expect it to be Manchester United), the writing was on the wall. I think that the Southampton game really was the last-straw for Juan.

Welbeck + Cash isn't so bad to be honest. We get a young (23 year old) forward (British one at that, and one who plays for the National Side) and some cash to either balance the books or invest in another player over the summer.

I think he's a goner I honestly cannot blame him but as it has been said many times in this thread as-of-late: This club is bigger than one player. This means that Schurrle is the AM back-up from here on out. It's going to hurt not seeing Mata in the Champion's League and we all know he wanted to win the league with us at least once.
