I'm pretty sure that foreign following is much like it is here in the UK. That is to say that people have their "Indigenous" side such as (and this is in Japan's case) Cerezo Osaka which they follow and then there's a "Foreign" side they follow such as Manchester United or Chelsea. For me it's "Chelsea" ('You Don't Say' meme goes here) and "Bayern Munich". I'd really like to go to a Bundesliga game generally, but I really have to salute Bayern Munich for their ruthlessness. I've got a problem with people who feel the need to bring politics into every single discussion, almost as-if to say "Hey, look at me! I'm smart because I'm talking about politics!"
