"Chelsea ruined English Football"
With foreign owners, and foreign support, I don't think that has any real significance with anybody. If football is ruined, and I don't believe it is, but very different to how I would like to remember it, then it's because of the greed of the chairmen in charge of the Div one clubs when they opted for the deal with the Murdoch and SKY. Then money started to become far more important than the match. It's easy to blame agents but it's the chairmen that opted for the 'whore' option. They couldn't wait to get their hands on the money, and then in turn the bandwagon started rolling.

Alan Hudson hits "rock bottom"
It's sad whichever way you look at it. Maybe it's more of a generation thing. I can remember Hudson being one of the major names in Division One football when I was growing up. Think it's always a shame to see yesterday's genuinely talented players in a dire place in comparison to the Premier Lge generation of players who would really struggle to end up in this kind of state because they are so grossly overpaid regardless of ability.

2013/2014 season Liverpool away and third colours
That's better than the second strip by some way. Slightly more subtle.

2013/2014 season Liverpool away and third colours
It wasn't a serious point about RAWK. It's just pretty crap. As for quoting Benitez, feel free....

2013/2014 season Liverpool away and third colours
That would be a bit more understandable. Just some on here seem more wound up about it than you'd expect. I suppose there will be some of ours who are similarly bitter towards Chelsea, but can't say I've particularly noticed it (please nobody start quoting RAWK though).

2013/2014 season Liverpool away and third colours
I'm relieved in some ways, having just shelled out over £72 for the home kit for my nine-year old lad, I don't think he'll be too interested in these efforts, although he says the purple one isn't bad. On another point, is blue the colour of bitterness? Some on here seem strangely vicious towards us. I was talking about this with a mate the other day and we're quite indifferent to Chelsea on the whole, and not sure why some of you are quite so excited about us. Everton and Man City are also strangely bitter towards their neighbours but more understandably so.

Joey Cole Interview
You have proven yourself to the class act I had guessed. Again, well done though.

Joey Cole Interview
That must of taken you a while to think up. Well done.

Champions League "Star"
I seem to recall that the PL wouldn't allow us to have the five stars on our kit so the club just used it in when playing in the CL (many moons ago). The club were probably quite happy as it just meant another replica shirt opportunity.

Race for Top 4
I don't think you'll have a problem in as much that I still think you'll finish at least 4th. Even if you don't RA will keep on trying new managers until he gets one he's happy with. Can't see you nosediving like we managed to due to your financial backing. Thanks to our chairman & CEO we ended up with that pair of clowns that RB seemed to be at war with for most of the time over funding etc With regards to Suarez, its difficult to call. Think it very much depends on how we finish the season. CL is out, so we might get one more year out of him.

ticket price comparison
I'm taking my son to the Europa Lge match at anfield a week on Thursday. £5 for him and £40 for me in the family stand. Adult tickets have gone from £20 for the other rounds/groups to £37.50 for other stands. As for PL games, it's a joke the way you get treated at away grounds. Arsenal were charging £65 the other week for us, but the stoke fans were charged around £38 a couple of weeks earlier. Mass walkouts of live games would be a good way to get your message over but can't see it ever happening. As long as someone is willing to pay the prices, the clubs will continue to screw the fans. Our season tickets have seen a phenomenal rate of inflation since I first got one in '88 for about £60, now £725 in the kop. Just can't see it changing. Although I've got a mate whose a city fan paying around £450 for his season ticket. Figure that one out.

The Frank Lampard goal scoring record thread
Great goal yesterday. Lampard is definitely one of those players that will always be seen as a Premiership great. Phenomenal scoring record for a midfielder. Seems to be fairly decent bloke as well. You don't hear of him being mad-mouthed by other pros or pundits.

The FA want their pound of flesh again!
Should never have been red-carded in the first place. Just a word would have done, but the wools' reaction got him the card. A three game ban is bad enough but will have to be accepted, but anything else over that will be a farce, but that's the FA for you.

The Battle for the Last Two Champions League Spots
I don't see it as being in doubt that the two mancs clubs will take the top places, you'll finish third, and then fourth is pretty much up for grabs but arsenal always tend to finish the season off in a decent way, and spurs will also be in with a decent shout for fourth, as will everton, although they've got a run of very hard games coming up. Even if we can get a decent result at arsenal, and avoid a spanking at city (our next two PL games) I think that the Sturridge move has come too late for us to make up enough ground.

Sturridge Transfer
You know you love us really. It does surprise me though that he didn't get more chances at your place, but I suppose a £50m price tag dictates who plays most games.
