Exactly my point. There is no point in us signing 100+ mill players when nearly every player we sign progressively gets worse with us. Hard to recall a player who actually got better with us. Hazard was probably the last one.

But here we have a bunch of mid-table to championship level players being guided by a manager who is only famous for doing the gacon test. The PL is a very tough league and I don't expect most of this lot to survive 3 years.

Questions need to be raised about the scouts and executives who identified these players and gave them such lengthy contracts with no evidence of quality.
