OMG Why do i even bother.How could they ask for him to be stripped of something he never at the time of the affair. The affairs were discovered in 2011, he gained captaincy in 2012. I think you can understand now how they could not strip the captaincy off him whilst they could terry. If your point is how is he able to gain the captaincy even after the controversies one year later? The same happened to terry when he got stripped of the captaincy:A few months later he was reinstated.

Sorry i thought you were implying that rio is a serial cheat whilst terry is not in your first post.Its quite now dawned on me you do not reject terry is a serial cheat but meant that ryan giggs is a serial cheat aswell . Never said ryan giggs didnt. But the thing is, that is the only thing he has done so i consider the amount of things rio ferdinand and john terry have done over the the years a lot worse. He is still a very good player. The only difference is when a striker comes in he does play as the main striker but as a number 10 just behind the striker or even center mid sometimes as he is so versatile . Thats the reason he doesnt score many goals. But when he is played as our main striker e.g. last year or two years ago, he comfortably bangs in 27 goals a season.

Finally people who make sense. Now dont get me wrong i dont think rooney is one of the top 10 or even 20 players in the world currently but i wouldnt say he is sh*t. TBF i think the other poster who commented that he thought welbeck was better than rooney was just trying to elicit an 'aggressive' response from me so i could get banned. I think that it not a case of the england players being crap, i think as individuals we could recognise that there were more than capable players over the last decade to have won something. I honestly believe that first of all we expected too much from the so called 'golden generation' and after they didnt win anything for the first few years we as fans came to expect them not to win anything.

Sorry. I normally just read and dont talk sh*t. Im also not one of those people who goes arround forums pretending to be one of them just to say how sh*t they are. I just like to read football forums. But i cant stand people who talk sh*t and say rooney has become sh*t or isnt happy because RVP is now our supposed main man without facts or even watching him play that often.

Don't think hes been poor.Matter of fact hes done great for us this season considering hes playing in different positions. 10 goals and 7 assists in 19 games (4 as sub) if that's not good i don't know what is. I just think people love talk how hes past hes best or overrated without even watching him week in week out. If he doesnt score hes rubbish that everyone's attitude . He does more for us in a game than just score. If you told me that van persie or rooney had to leave i would want van persie to leave any day of the week as would most man untd supporters.

I dont think he will go to city. Although he will be too good for arsenal i have a feeling he would stick with them, or maybe go to some other european team mabe real. But i think he has too much respect for arsenal to go to city the boy is a true gooner.

Id have to disagree. Although welbeck wasted some chances (just like sturridge), he worked his arse off. He was continuously running not letting their defense and midfield have time to pick out a pass. Also hes build up play as superb.
