  1. I can't see us winning this... I may relax IF we go three up. A win is the thing.
  2. Damn. I think a draw might be on the cards Robdog. If we win however, the pressure will be really on Leicester.
  3. We'll try! It's a tough game. I am worried but let's see what we can do.
  4. Had the game been well reffed, what do you think the result would have been?
  5. Thank you Krc-fan. It's a tough game - Stoke on a cold Monday night, etc. We are at Stoke too and must win the game.
  6. He's probably a stockbroker and an ex public schoolboy, pretending to be from Norf Lundun. He can't be real??
  7. It's pretty embarrassing. No more "booms" from him at least.
  8. Jeez...the bloke is nicknamed 'HeavyD'. "Fat" too obvious then? When he's angry, his voice is a tad too highly pitched.
  9. Chelsea Ladies are in the final of this year's women's FA Cup. Ji So-Yun equalised against Man City to take today's semi final to extra time and Fran Kirby scored the winner in the 120th minute. Chelsea will face Arsenal in the final, on 14/05. There are some good photos here: http://www.gettyimages.co.uk/detail/news-photo/ji-so-yun-and-hedvig-lundahl-of-chelsea-celebrate-their-news-photo/521884850# Edit: i am not posting this as a wind up. I followed CFC Women's FA Cup progress last season. Women's football needs a higher profile imo though the level of interest is of course consumer driven.
  10. Yes! We need to get Ty a bodyguard for when he defends Wenger to Claude.
  11. I agree. Same for the manager and other players. If we sell anyone important this summer it'll really show up that we are not serious. Utd are still a mess and it seems that they have spent, and will spend, lots of money in a panic rather than building a team.
  12. Fair point. They have been on a bad-ish run but no-where as bad as Villa's.
  13. There are rumours of Utd preparing a 'break the bank' summer bid for Kane. Whether we sell will be a good indication of our ambition.
  14. What's happened to Palace? - they seem to be slipping, very slowly, into a Villa-like mediocrity. AND they score. Gem's technique is flawless!
  15. I don't recall knowing who refs were when I was younger. Now they are professional and personalities in their own right and not any better than the pre 'professional' refs, except perhaps in terms of fitness.
  16. Good post. There was so much riding on the game, I wonder whether the pressure gets to refs too? (particularly after this week's talk about who would ref certain matches).
  17. Ah, gutting :-(. Thanks Charierre. It is Leicester's but Vardy is missing the next game so, you never know. I don't underestimate Stoke tomorrow.
  18. Damn, damn, damn, damn...and damn. Damn. Still, -2 points helps, but, damn!
  19. Now watch us get beaten by Stoke tomorrow! :-)
  20. (Trying Gem's approach) There's no way West Ham are going to win this. Nope.
  21. West Brom at home. It's 'do-able' but West Ham winning today is essential. They've got time. I'm not sure about CFC (honestly) as our record at yours is terrible and we'll be under pressure. It could be close. As could Stoke away. However, we rely on the Hammers today. Do you think Leicester can be beaten today?
  22. They could win the title next weekend. Mad season but fair play to them.
