There's a recent media trend to call Upton Park 'The Boleyn Ground'. It may be its proper name but I honestly had no clue when I first heard it called that. It's 'West Ham' or 'Upton Park'. Soon to be flats no doubt.

It's the media more than West Ham who are making a big deal about them leaving Upton Park. West Ham have gotten a large, modern stadium for a knock down price, have seen the £ sign and gone for it. If they were very committed to Upton Park they wouldn't leave but football is going the way it is and West Ham are following.

It's very important. We are stuttering and it's not a given. An Arsenal second place finish would feel like a bad end of season for us.

And LVG perhaps given another year at Utd, with JM then needing a role.

I have the same feeling tbh. It could well happen. Courtino is very good.

This season makes me cautious about predictions but Guardiola and Conte have re-building jobs to do and it would surprise me if they produced a league winning team in season one. Ranieri will face a different challenge with LCFC being in four competitions. Klopp is definitely making progress, as is Van Gaal. Bilic has done well with West Ham but, in the past, they have gone through good spells and not sustained progress. I wouldn't rule out Wenger either but he'll have to break his habit of producing teams that play attractive football but lack fight. I think Pochettino and Klopp may be next season's top managers and, if (as he must, surely?) Klopp fixes LFC's defence, I think they'll be an excellent side. I have a gut feeling about LFC - on their day, the Klopp LFC has looked worryingly good. I haven't considered Jose or Rafa as, on balance, I don't think they'll be at English clubs next season. If Rafa is, it will not be with Newcastle.

Where now then (if true?). I hope he stays in England as he does add to the variety of the game. There was a flurry of rumours a short while ago about newly-moneyed Everton. That doesn't sound right but you never know (?).
