Haz139
Forgive me if this is in the wrong place to post or there's already a thread. Anyway it's on BBC 1 Live now. Hoping the ladies will add to the clubs success Someone with more knowledge than me about the women's game tell me what our chances are?
Beerqueen
I think we're favourites. We beat the holders, Arsenal, in an earlier round and Man City in the semis. And we've got the player of the year and the England captain (sound familiar? OK I know JT isn't England captain any more but if England had more sense he would be). That's about as much as I know. Haz139
Doesn't feel right not having an England captain in the ranks these days does it? And we seem to be playing well by the looks of it
Beerqueen
We're all over them. And we score to go one up!
Beerqueen
Our number 9 - Luko? is causing them real trouble. Li's been quiet from what I've seen. Edit - Aluko and Ji. Edited August 1, 2015 by Beerqueen

shedpensioner
Decent first half, is it me or does the pitch seem huge for the ladies?
Haz139
Decent first half, is it me or does the pitch seem huge for the ladies?I thought that. Maybe it's a combination of camera angle, fairly empty stands and the smaller stature of the female players? Englishman
Congratulations to the ladies. First men's team to win the cup at the new Wembley, and now the first women's team to do it. Still don't see the logic in holding the final three months after the semis...
