Congrats to the CFC ladies' team. That Korean lass is rather cute (not relevant but true)...

It wasn't a classic game but there were some great moments. Aluko has some serious pace and could have bagged a goal if she'd had been a little greedier on one particular break. Ji looked a cut above in terms of skill and Claire Rafferty was properly solid at left back, reminding me of Cole in his pomp.

Based on this game I was surprised Jess Clarke of Notts County didn't go to the World Cup, she was by far their most threatening player, especially in the first half.

A good day out that ended with the right result. [emoji4][emoji106]

Chelsea Ladies are in the final of this year's women's FA Cup. Ji So-Yun equalised against Man City to take today's semi final to extra time and Fran Kirby scored the winner in the 120th minute. Chelsea will face Arsenal in the final, on 14/05. Edit: i am not posting this as a wind up. I followed CFC Women's FA Cup progress last season. Women's football needs a higher profile imo though the level of interest is of course consumer driven.
