we're looking for a striker to strengthen the squad, so who better...from what i've heard eidur is availiable from barca for around £2m...he would provide a different option to what we have already and can also play in midfield...i think he's cup-tied in champs league which is a shame, but definetely one to think about...certainly would hate to see him go elsewhere in the prem league, he should come home

Nice idea but the one thing we are massively lacking up front (well one of the things) is pace and that is something Guddy doesn't have. Can't deny it would be nice to see him in a Chelsea shirt again.

As long as Stoch and Di Santo dont lose any play time, and he doesnt expect to start too many games, I would welcome him back with open arms.

That was a guy who was proud to be at this club and wear this shirt. IMO he would be a great role model to have on the squad if we are really serious about blooding in the youngsters. Judging by how many young guns Barca has to play, I would say he is just about finished there.

We already have too many over 30 year olds.

losing him really was a shock, he was the one guy you thought would stay with us till he retired, but when barca come knocking you dont really refuse do you..
