BLUENUT
Just thought it was worth a mention Petr Cech played his 202 game for us last night, in that time he's managed to amass over 100 clean sheets (I think it's actually 109 clean sheets but cannot find the info on the official website) 109 clean sheets in 202 games - well done!!! If he was a striker and those CS's were goals the record would kept being held up for all to see, I suppose it's different for goal stoppers. Also JT became Chelsea'a highest ever scoring defender at the weekend, and the winner came from the clubs highest ever scoring midfielder. and love him or hate him Drogba made his 200th appearance last night, and looks to have regained a bit of form. Well done the lot of you!
dkw
thats an incredible stat and shows just how much of a bargain he was when we bought him for aroun £7 mill i think. some people bemoan the amounts we spend on players but we do get some bargains too. Scott
He made two world class saves at Pompey last night. People say he's had a dip in form since that c**t bashed his head in but a lot has to be put on the back line in front of him. I still can't think of a keeper better than Cech. Zola's Love Child
Another excellent game last night, really did earn us the clean sheet. Hopefully he's going to be staying back at this level for the rest of the season and more.

The Moos
and love him or hate him Drogba made his 200th appearance last night, and looks to have regained a bit of form. How many goals have he scored on those appearances?
BLUENUT
How many goals have he scored on those appearances? Not sure, but take away the goals he scored in Wembley and Cardiff finals and we wouldn't have won half the trophies we have in past 5 years ;)
TheWestwayWonder
Well done Big Pete. I think he has definitely seen a dip in his form, but I dont think its nearly as bad as most people have made it out to be. We just havent been nearly as good a defensive outfit since Jose's departure, and, obviously, his recovery. I hope he has another 10 years back there. Well done Pete, and well done to the rest of the team. I will fully admit that the Drogba I slagged off constantly has looked far more interested and better recently, but I would still prefer he move on and allow the team to get younger in the summer. He may have thought he was disrespecting Scolari with his actions, but he was disrespecting the club as a whole

He may have thought he was disrespecting Scolari with his actions, but he was disrespecting the club as a whole I honestly think DD is staying. His actions after Saturdays win, pointing at this badge, then pointing towards the floor as if to say I'm staying put. Perhaps he knows who the manager is going to be next year. ;) As for not performing under Scolari, he was injured, suspended, then he was hardly selected. I think he's started something like 9 league games ALL season, 3 of which have been under the new bloke. He's back scoring again and looking up for it now, so good luck to him. There are alot of players held in higher regard than DD that haven't made 200 app's, alot never won anything, I just think it's a commendable achievement in itself especially, when you think it coincides with the most sucessful period in our history. Tim
I agree he's looked more up for it recently (and about time) but come one Bluenut, surely you're not taken in by the badge kissing/holding from Didier of all people! He didn't love the badge enough to give it his all earlier in the season, and so one token show of 'loyalty' doesn't suddenly erase his past indiscretions. He just needs to keep on doing what he's been doing in the last couple of weeks, and I think most of us will be happy. Come the summer, I would imagine opinions on whether he stays or goes will be much more divided

(he didn't kiss it, just grabbed it and pointed to the ground, in front of the Mh stand). Early season form? There was none, he wasn't playing. Weither injured or suspended and the last manager reckoned he couldn't play with Anelka. He needed games to regain his fitness and has just started doing it. Drogba the person is one thing, but Drogba the player is still one of the best around. He's made 200 app's winning 2 titles, 1 FA cup scoring the winner in the final, won 2 league cups scoring the winner in both finals, and a charity shield, not sure if he scored in that win. Like I say, alot of fans have their favourites some of whom have never won anything, some have never got near 200 apps, I just thought he was worth a mention. DD will always devide opinion, but i thought his 200 appearance was worth a mention, there are not many that have done it. Anyway back the Cech - thats some record! bluevale2
From Willy Foulke, through Vic Woodley, the Cat, Johnny Phillips, Eddie Niedzwiecki, Petar Borota who created an art form of making saves with his arse, up to Dave Beasant, Ed de Goey and Carlo Cudicini, is Petr Cech the best we have ever had? I think so! Well done on your outstanding clean sheet stat Petr, your the greatest!

dustbin00
Wow, what a stat. Had two immense saves at Portsmouth and we wouldn't be the same team without him. Congrats!

Well done on your outstanding clean sheet stat Petr, your the greatest! I dunno... Cech doesn't sit on the ball and refuse to move when he doesn't get his own way. Then again he doesn't weigh 105kg, so that wouldn't really be a problem.
