shamrock rovers - SKY sports1 - football is back........well nearly.

Bit like Arjen's fitness........perhaps he wants to stay injury free until his move to Spurs :D

Well, no surprise that Arjen is out, but if he already has an injury it probably means Madrid will hesitate to move him, and wait until he has a brilliant run of games during the season to sell him in the winter window.....that or they will just convince him to go to Spurs who will probably pay way over the odds for a player who is without question world class

The Shamrock Rovers game should be great, and I cant wait to hear about how it goes. I think its brilliant to see a big team play in a minnow's stadium and home crowd, although i know Madrid originally wanted to do the game in Croke Park or Lansdowne Road to increase revenues.

Part of me is a little sad Ronaldo and Robben might never get to fight over the same match ball :D although if the two of them have great games that might also be pretty nice to watch too.
