My name's Cameron....and I'm a football-holic

Featured Replies

G'day...I'm Cameron, an Australian male who loves football.

I lived in England from 89 to 96 where I picked up support of the mighty Blues, and have followed them ever since. Since returning to Australia (where I was born), I have followed them as much as possible, which in the past few years has been a lot, where having pay tv has allowed me to view almost all EPL and ECL games...and I love it. I'm impartial to a bit of staying up till 4am or so, if it means I can watch them play. Unfortunately the only team that's won the title since I got cable has been United......yeah.....I know. Ah well, time for that to change.

My favourite player is Michael 'the tank' Essien currently. He occupies my desktop so every time I'm on my computer (which is a lot), I can be reminded of how lucky Chelsea are United or some other vultures didn't get him

Used to love watching Zola, and I maintain hope that one day he will manage Chelsea.

In addition to Chelsea support, I follow my local A-League team, the Brisbane Roar.

That's all. Don't be too impressed now haha

Good morning to you, Cameron. If you're joining us because you hope we will help you to overcome your footballohicism, then you're doomed to disappointment! If on the other hand, you want to read some interesting articles on Chelsea players past and present, then delve into the Fansite section and have a good read.

Oh, no...I'm at a good place with my footballism...

Step 1: Admit you have a problem

Step 2: Enjoy it

Welcome Cam. Interestingly we used to have a poster on the old site called Cam who went travelling down under and we never heard from Cam again. I know it's not you though because the other Cam was definitely female........unless.................

Welcome to the boards mate, it's tough following the blues getting up at 4am to watch them play...I do that often. But lately it's been great with the amount of games you can find on tv, or through streams. Helps out when trying to follow The Blues
