Help getting mobile to synv with googlmail calendar

Featured Replies

Mobile phones have never really been my bag. For a while Ihad a work PDA and all the syncing betwene that and my e-mails and calender was set up automatically so all was fine.

Now they have decided that cost cutting is the order of the day and taken all the PDAs away which is a pain as I can't be dealing with going back to carrying around a hard copy diary with my meetings etc in them as well as having to put them inoto my work Outlook calendar.

I spoke to my IT department at work and they say that setting my Samsung genio touch to sync with my work Outlook is a big no no.

So I am left with the option of using googlemail calendar to put all my meetings etc in as I am told I can get the Genio touch to sync with googlemail.

Except I can't!

Searched the net and read the manual and found some reference to it but can I find an easy guide? Can I hell.

Anyone know how to do this (and trust me I need a dummy's guide)?

not sure if this will help but this is what i used for my wifes phone www.goosync.com

There is sync software on it - I just don't known how to set it up and the manual is useless.

Probably the one I translated

On the other hand as Google calendar is linked with gmail the address book will be a mess. But here thou go Loz
