Ok, it's not like De Niro passing away or anything but it's still very sad.

He never really recovered from being a child star and spent a lot of his life in and out of rehab. Growing up when he did and with the adulation he got so early was always going to be a struggle for him to adapt when things stopped going his way.

Will give the The Lost Boys soundtrack a spin tonight for sure. the movie hasn't dated well but it sure meant a lot to me when in 1988, as did Corey Haim. Lets hope he is at peace now.

They actually had a show on out here called "the two Coreys" or something to that effect. It was sad to watch. Feldman had obviously moved on, had a nice house, a wife that was a model, and still had some form of a career.

Haim was still kicking about in a leather Jacket, was off chasing some chick from England for a while, not working, crashing on Feldman's couch, and generally being a recovering alcoholic drug user with no direction. He desperately held on to the hope that there would be a Lost Boys Two, and that would signal his big come back. However, the producers of the upcomming movie contacted Feldman tos ay they wanted him to make a cameo, but were not at all interested in Haim. You could tell it just destroyed him!

He was a posted boy of the 80's, and had too much too young. He just never knew how to deal with it once it was all gone.

RIP Corey
